I think I'll just start dreaming about ...puppies...and boat rides...and birthday parties...

I've had those other dreams...they were just like all these and were no fun.

I'm gonna change.

So I keep having this stupid dream, where I'm in an obvious self defense scenario and the gun will not work, or jams, or doesn't hit, or some kind of failure. Often times I'll clear the obstruction, or fix the problem pull the trigger and it still wont work! I realize this is a pretty unlikely scenario all together. But those dreams have changed the way I carry. I almost exclusively carry some sort of revolver now.

Anyone else had the dream?

Did it contribute to changing your carry habits?

I've had a similar recurring dream for a while, where no matter how hard I pulled the trigger, the gun just won't shoot. And the safety was always off.

I think I finally figured out that there was nothing wrong with the gun in my dream, it was a mental block against actually shooting another human being.

Kind of like your brain reminding you that you really don't WANT to do it? I also had those thoughts...
