There are some amazing AR's on here! Here are mine, Sorta plain but that's how I like it, you can be high speed without all the gizmos but that's because I can't afford them! :D

Top:
16" Spikes LE upper
Troy rear sight
LRB stripped lower
Spikes lpk
Actual CAR stock
KAC surplus rail (never used)

DD rear sight
Spikes T2 H buffer

yeah josie, some folks think the the SF stocks are a waste of money. Grannie Hawkins would say they don't know doodly squat. They can be expensive to own if you get carried away. Mostly shoot in semi mode since our range doesn't allow auto fire. Anyway, it works great either way so no regrets. I do wish I'd gotten the single dot EOtec though.

Here is my tax return build. AKA my Snapple build. I didn't buff and polish it for the photos. I had just put some break-in rounds through it at the range so it's spattered with CLP and a bit dusty.

I removed my standard "F" marked sight from my DD upper today and installed a PRI gas block and Diamondhead flip up sight. Installation was quite easy, it all lined up nicely. Removal of the original sight OTOH was hugely difficult. The pins would not budge, especially the front one. I had to grind on it, heat cycle it and just BFH it. Finally success.

Why a railed gas block with folding sight as opposed to a gas block w/o rails but an integral folding sight?

I thought about that route and frankly was leaning that way, but when I started looking at the BUIS the selection for rail mount is so large and I really like the Diamond Head, I went that route. With a folding sight (they are very nice) the selection is limited.

Put your safties on, boys.;)

You are joking I hope.

Safety. Safeties. Not sure I know you/your history but you do know the safety on an AR platform is not functional with the hammer down. Regardless I know and follow the four rules without exception.

I can't believe I can finally post in the AR-15 Pic thread!! :D :D

I APOLOGIZE for the optic, an uber-cheap red dot. It's getting replaced as soon as I can get back to it.

An ATI-HDA-16, i consider it the Buick Stage 3 of the AR-15 world. Fairly unknown, but still a serious contender. It was assembled by Head Down in GA, now that ATI owns them. FN hammer-forged barrel (appears to be nitrocarbed, bore is very hard to make out even with a light) Troy Alpha rail, and Head Down's version of the ACS stock.
