I LOVE having a backyard range. It's so great! So what if it's only 35 yards, that's good for all the Home Defense, CCW, and .22 shooting we can enjoy. We have the cousins and family friends over to soot often.

Did it have that much recoil? Never shot a .44, but shot a .454 Casull(sp) That one woke me up. Largest pistol I have shot is a .45, the .454 was a wheel gun.

Not really if you're prepared for it, hence it's easy to limp wrist.

Out of curiosity, are you riding the trigger reset when you shoot? Looks like you are fully releasing the trigger after every shot.

Most ranges tend to have a 2 (or 3) second rules between shots.. No mag dumps or double taps..!

What! no mag dumps?

Some of the best fun I have shooting is to load up the 30 round clip on my MINI-14 and throw a two liter plastic bottle out on the pond and smother it with rapid fire.
