As you said it is in the eye of the beholder, in my eyes that would be a new in the box properly stored Colt Model 1898 revolver preferably one made before they were redesigned to fire the 45 ACP but an later model would be acceptable. Even though the .45 is more cartridge than I can handle I would care for it and feed it at least twice a month.It's in the eye of the beholder. But which one revolver & which one pistol do you think are the best looking? These would not be customs, but out of the box guns any of us could buy ( finances allowing ). If your pistol choice is something like a 1911, be specific about which one. There are so many, and they can look vastly different.
