I know that for reasons good, bad or indifferent, the name Rick Stanley turns many people off. I do not fully understand the background of these feelings, so I will not "go there". Suffice it to say that Mr. Stanley is something of a pain in the ass to some.
Notwithstanding that, and assuming that there is some truth in the following, please read on, it appears that pain in the ass, or misunderstood saint, he has been screwed over by the laws and the courts of Colorado, about which I know as close to nothing as is possible.
Let my ignorance of Colorado law and court routines slide for the moment, and take a look at the legal abuse that Stanley seems to have been exposed to. Having done that, consider the following. Has it come to pass that this country can no longer find room for the odd character from amongst the citizenry, that now and then arises? If that be the case, then I submit that we are well and truly on the down hill slope to the great ????ter that waits below.
Consider also the following. Mr. Stanley's battle might have been a poorly chosen one. I do not see why it should so be, but who knows. Others might, in other instances, come to do battle with the authorities, having a much better cause than was Stanley's, though it does appear that his was entirely legitimate. What might happen to you or to unnamed others, who had brought even better cases against authority, given the precedent of how Mr. Stanley was dealt with?
Rick Stanley might be that proverbial pain in the ass, he might well be a charter member of the Tin Foil Hat Brigade, he might also beat his wife, and kick his dog. All of the foregoing are beside the point, for it appears that he had a legitimate complaint and was punished for having displayed the termidity to disturb the august tranquillity of authority with his mundane concerns. The same could happen to you. Think about that, and forget if you can, that Rick Stanley might wear a Tin Foil Hat. In passing the following comes to mind. Anything stopping similar actions elsewhere? Nothing much that I can see, but perhaps I'm missing something. Think about it.

Hello Leland. Denver is violating the State Constitution, Article 2, Section 13. They are violating SB-25. They are violating the Colorado Constitution Article 20, section 6 which says that HOME RULE does not trump any rights of the citizen in the State Constitution. They are violating Colorado Revised Statute CRS 29-11.7-103 which states "A local government may not enact an
ordinance, regulation, or other law that prohibits the sale, purchase, or possession of a firearm that a person may lawfully sell, purchase or possess under state or federal law. Any such ordinance, regulation, or other law enacted by a local government prior to March 18, 2003, is VOID and
UNENFORCEABLE." One Judge Rose of Thornton Municipal court testified in trial that there is no law on the books that makes the gun ordinances in Colorado cities and municipalities void or unenforceable and retroactive back to prior to March 18, 2003. He LIED under oath in a trial against me which he brought
charges against me for "Influencing a Public Official". You see Leland, the judges in this country, MOST of them violate the Constitution EVERY day, with impunity. By doing this they are violating their oath of office to defend the Constitution and are thereby committing treason per several US Supreme Court
rulings: The USSC held in Young v United State (1877) 97 U.S. 39 that TREASON is a breach of allegiance and can be committed by he who owes allegiance perpetual or temporary. The USSC held in the Sawyer case in (1888) 124 U.S. 200 that if a judge does not fully comply witht the U.S. Constitution (or state
constitutions for that matter) his orders are void, he is without jurisdiction, and he has engaged in an act of TREASON.
Now Leland, let me warn you that they will violate the law with impunity in Denver and also in Thornton, Colorado because the Judges are committing treason against the people by upholding these ILLEGAL laws, when you are brought to court after being thrown in jail. They will find you guilty and they will steal your gun, and anything else they can think of, like your vehicle and any
cash you might have on your person. All things that you were using to commit a crime you understand. There are other state statutes that tell Denver they cannot arrest you for having a gun in your car, loaded or not, hidden or not. They do not care. They viloate the law with impunity because they have given
themselves immunity from the law. You live in the POLICE STATE OF AMERICA. The judges and police do whatever they want outside of the law, because no one stops them. They are above the law. By the way if they want to, they will kill you and blame "you" for it. Welcome to the freest country on earth.
How do I know all this? Because I have been arrested many times for this issue in Denver and Thornton. I have served time in jail for this issue when thejudges knew the law was in my favor and they should have overturned the convictions. I have paid many fines and served community service as well for
exercising rights as a citizen. When I complained vigorously in a PLEADING to the courts in Thornton and Adams County, I was charged with "Influencing a Public Official" by unlawful threat, when I told the judges they could be arrested by a militia or myself for breaking the law and the state statute in
Colorado that says I or you can make a LAWFUL arrest in Colorado, called a citizen arrest, which is Colorado State Statute CSR S16-3-201 which says "A person who is not a peace officer may arrest another person when any crime has been or is being committed by the arrested person in the presence of the person
making the arrest." There is no exceptions for judges. They turned the threat of a lawful arrest into a crime, when the statute they arrested me for says "unlawful threat". The Supreme Court in Colorado in Schott v People of the State of Colorado (1971) P.2d 101 held that a "threat" is a declaration of purpose or intention to work injury to the person, property, or rights of
another by commission of an unlawful act." They turned a lawful act into an unlawful act.
Amazing? It gets worse. My case is at the Colorado Court of Appeals. I am out on appeal bond, having paid an $80,000.00 appeal bond, after having been sentenced to 6 years in state prison, a $10,000.00 Fine and $8,200.00 Restitution for police protection of the judges, "while I was in jail". All of this sounds like a nightmare doesn't it Leland? Welcome to my world. I am
being persecuted by Colorado judges and police authorities because I spoke out with the TRUTH. Can't have that Stanley fellow embarrassing judges and police in Colorado now can we? Lets put that FELON in jail. I have been handed two
felonies with this conviction because I wrote TWO pleadings to the courts, one in Thornton, and one in Adams County District Court. Ever heard of the first amendment right to "Petition the government for Redress of Grievance"??? That was destroyed by these courts in Colorado. Ever heard of first amendment right
