No, I do not need one. I have Rugers , Browning, SW and other quality target guns.
Just something that holds more than 10 rounds for range blasting

So there is the Taurus and the KelTec Not fond of either brand but heck they are inexpensive
Taurus TX22 or the KT P17??

KT has great customer service (I had a KT years ago) and are easy to deal with. Taurus I don't know? They used to make the customer pay to ship the gun back to them(if that is the case then forget it)

Any comments pros cons??

The tx22 has excellent reviews and reputation. 22plinkster did a decent comparison lately with the new glock.

You can modify Ruger SR-22 mags to hold 16 rounds.

Good point. The magazine modification is a good idea. Only thing is it will no longer lock the slide back on the last round. I dislike like that on my Ruger 10/22. Not a bog deal just unsettling when all my other guns lock back,

Dang, this post just cost me $43.98. :what:

I was just going to order a 2-pack of the magazine bumpers,,,
But I thought I should check out some items for my other pistols.

I noticed they had a combo pack of 2 mag extenders,,,
And the stainless steel guide rod & spring.

I've heard from other members that the guide rod & spring is worth having,,,
So I decided to go ahead and get the combo pack.

I gotta quit this impulse spending. ;)

I’m all for buying new pistols and I can see the value in a light, larger capacity packing pistol or a training aid with similar/identical manual of arms and feel to a companion centerfire. The Taurus seems pretty impressive from what I’ve read.

However as far as more rounds downrange with less fuss, I’d wager quite a bit of money on my being able to dispense 200 rounds worth of .22LR with my MKIII .22/45 with one 10-rd mag and “ultimate cliploader” faster, easier, and likely more reliably than any of the new wonderguns, even if they start with 3 full mags and I start unloaded and mag empty.

If you are going with Kel Tec, they have the CP33 with a 33 round magazine.

Gads that's an option I had not considered.
After sleeping on it I am more inclined to go with 1KPerday imput.

I really do not need either a Taurus or a KT, I'll just load more mags for my Rugers or other rimfires.

NO MORE GUNS!:)

Darn it, I want someone to try a charger.!

I have several 10/22's Its the same only a shorter barrel. When the first came out they were a hit. People bought the heck out of them. I have no use or desire for one. Long ago I shot one on a little Bipod, It was fun off the bench but other than that??????
