FWIW I've got the chrome moly (blued) barrel on my M1A Loaded and it shoots really well . .even with cheap crappy SA (Mid-80s) surplus.

I need to get it out and shoot it tomorrow!!

It is amazing that I can get a French curassier's sword and several different British and Dutch cavalry sabres from the UK straight through the mail but an NM trigger group is illegal. I do not deny your story, only sit amazed by it.

I just got one of those. Unfortunately, being a public school teacher with no moola means I have to wait 'till next paycheck to shoot it . I really couldn't afford the rifle itself, but I figured if there was one rifle to get before upcoming elections, this was it.
