Okay, first, this isn't a troll post. Here's my situation.
I'm moving from Texas to California for work reasons, and I've decided that I'm only going to take 2 handguns with me. I currently own 3 weapons:
1) Glock 17
2) XD-45 Tactical
3) Ruger SP-101
First off, the Glock 17 will be with me until the day I die, 1750 rounds, ZERO malfs, and I'm close to surgical with it within 15 yards. It’s almost ALWAYS my go to gun for home defense and road trips. It’s definitely going with me.
Now, the XD-45 has 550 trouble free rounds through it. I can’t shoot it as much because of the higher cost of .45 ACP, but it is gaining ground on the Glock. I’m almost as accurate with it as I am with the Glock.
The Ruger is a great gun. I bought it because I felt the need for a revolver. It has 350 trouble free rounds through it. However, I don’t shoot it as well, I don’t shoot it as often, and it costs a lot to feed. So here’s what I’m looking at.
I have two ultra-reliable semi-s that I shoot quite well, for me anyway. They have twice to three time the capacity of the revolver. I can’t see leaving the gun in Texas with my parents and I can’t really see owning a gun that I don’t shoot.
I’ve only sold a gun once, a POS jam-o-matic Kimber that I made most of the purchase money back on because a stupid pawn shop dealer thought it was a better model than it was.
What advice can yall give me? Thanks in advance.
