Hey guys I'm thinking of selling...trading my g27 and was wondering if you could *help me figure *a fair price. I bought it used 2 years ago and have only put 50 rounds through it myself but since I got it used I have no way of putting a round count On it. The shop owner said the guy who traded it told him less than 250 because he did not like the dreaded 27 "snap" but I would hate to claim that not knowing for sure. It has night sights they put on to sweeten the deal for me and 3 mags with extensions. In your professional opinions *what would you say is a fair price. I am wanting to get a good 22 pistol to get my girls started shooting handguns and this is the one that gets used/carried the least often. Also if I were to trade for say a ruger or Browning 22 would I be out of place to expect cash or accessories on top from them. Thanks for the help guys

$450 is a fair price to ask from a private party. If you go to a dealer, I wouldn't expect to get any more than about $300 for it. Good luck.

425 with night sights if you sell it. On trade it's 300-325. That's for my location anyway.

ok thanks alot fellas i appreciate that is there a way to tell the date on the sights they still glow bright but a guy at work said if they are over 4-5 yrs they arenot great but i like em

$450 for the gun here. Nightsights are rated for a 12 year life generally, so they should be fine for a while yet.

I'd try and keep the Glock and find a used .22. I know that isn't always possible. Maybe a used conversion kit for it or something else you have?

I really like the idea of a conversion kit how well do they work I would probly get it for the g22 just for the increased sight radius. Will they reliably feed bulk or do I need the pricey stuff for it

I have Lone Wolf barrels for G22/G27 (replacement and conversion) and really like them. I bought them for the fully supported tight chambers that prevent case bulges and allow more carefree lead bullet shooting. I have used bulk jacketed, plated and lead bullets with reliable feeding/chambering and very good accuracy on par with factory barrels.

About $450 here, $400 if you want it to move within an hour of posting on the local firearms sale/trade listing site.

$400-450 retail from a dealer that is over charging IMO for a used pistol. Trade in value could be as high as $325, you may be able to trade straight up for a Buckmark. Keep any extra magazines etc, as they rarely will be a consideration on a trade. Sell them on Gunbroker, or sell the whole package on GB and get $400 maybe.

Thanks Guys I appreciate the help whos got the best prices for the conversion kits and any info on shooting the bulk ammo in them

Eds is on my way to work. They sell used Glock 19/23/26/33/27/26/32/22 with night sights for $375. They have a case full of them. My latest acquisition was a LNIB G27 with Night Sights for <$400 out-the-door.
