2. Ruger Speed Six in 357 magnum
3.Taurus 85 in 38 special.

I WOULD FEEL 110% SAFE DEPENDING ON ANY ONE OF THESE TO PROTECT MYSELF, OR FAMILY.
I know the bad guy will drop if I do my part.

1. Glock 29 10mm
2. Sig Sauer P239 9mm
3. S&W 360PD .357mag (on order)

4. Sig Sauer P556

The brothers and sisters at Sigforums are good people and know their firearms, for the most part.

They've really seem to take a liking to Kahr's line of polymer framed carry pistols, such as the PM9, CW9 and P9.

I don't think I've seen them speak as highly of any other non-Sig brand of handguns, generally speaking, as Kahr.

I did read some threads dating back to 2007-2008 where some people were having mag drop and a few FTF/light primer strike issues with PM9s and such, but it seems Kahr has rectified any issues based on what I'm reading now.

I'm seriously considering a Kahr at around 15 ounces unloaded.

With a mag of 9mm, it should weigh in right around 20 ounces, which is about half what most of my other "compact carry" sidearms weigh.

That these Kahrs are 0.90" wide at their widest point doesn't hurt, either.

I hate to say it, but the Kahr PM9 gets the call most of the time. I live in a non-free state
where only Pelosi and Diane F. get CCW permits.
So, it has to be deep cover, non-detectable, and, the PM9 works for that, plus, those
tiny little magazines filled with 9MM are better then a sharp stick, and, it's easy to carry 19-20 rounds in 3 clips.
Pepper spray is carried more often.
Other choices:
Baby Beretta
360PD .357 mag
Detonics Combat Master.

Since you said "concealed" not pocket carry, I'll go with my favorite three. I have each of these, and for me Concealed means "small".
Kahr PM-9.
Sig 238.
Seecamp

Right now I only have two pistols that I carry daily a Glock 17 and 19. I carry both in a El Paso Saddlery #88 holster. I have a left handed version of the # 88 holster coming for Christmas so I can carry both guns. I really need to replace the Chief's Special that got stolen. Makes sad to think about.:(

We have been invaded successfully, and now folks are trying to bring exactly what they hated about mexico, thugs carrying machine guns, called Federalies, and drug cartels, and bring them here, along with the laws that don't allow the Mexican people to protect themselves against either. Amazing how that works.

That's a part of their culture I'm not interested in. Now their food and women, that's a different story. :D It wouldn't be a problem if we actually had a Southern border, but lets not get all political.

How do you carry your PM9? Front pocket works for me, but I have to get a new holster. The desantis nemesis wants to come out with the gun more often than not. I think I'll try a blackhawk #4.

I love revolvers. Rugers especially for self defense. And my edcs are Ruger SP101,LCR both in .38 or .357, GP100,3 and 4 inch older fixed sighted GP and security sixes and speed sixes.

My top 3

1911 Commander- I have 3 Kimbers with 4" barrels.

Glock 23/32/19- I have both a 23 and the 32.

Ruger LCP- When I can't carry anything else I can carry this.

Jericho 941 compact, S&W 637, and a Kel-Tec P11 thats soon to be replaced with some type of SA/DA automatic. No place in my collection for a DAO pocket gun. I cant stand a mouse gun that behaves like a staple gun.

1911 full size - winter
1911 compact - summer
LCP dress dictated - church

Always have my Benchmade clipped on also. Just in case.

While not perfect my 3 pics serve me well and have done so for Decades now!!

Ron, thanks for putting up those pics, brother.

I find myself strangely attracted to Makarovs AND M95s as of late. I say strangely, because back in my less enlightened days, I would have dismissed either as an old tool outliving it's use in the modern world.

I have come to the conclusion that there's something about all steel guns based on proven designs that will always be timeless. That some choose them over more modern offerings is testament to their quality and the foresight of their design.

Big to small:

G20sf with Surefire 400 and Raven Concealment OWB belt holster
G32C with Comp-tac OWB paddle holster
Kahr P9 with Comp-tac MTAC (IWB) or Desantis Superfly (pocket)

1. Kimber Ultra CDP, .45 ACP, Don Hume JIT Slide the majority of the time

2. Glock 26, for biking in the concrete jungle here, or Glock 29, Don Hume JIT Slide, when venturing about at the north country home

3. Kel-Tec P32 in a Uncle Mike's Size one pocket holster all the time

With my love handles forget carrying a Glock in the summer time!

I stopped carrying my Glock 19 years ago.

I only carry my Kahr PM9. It is the perfect size gun for concealment for me.

It is not my favorite to shoot. I love shooting Glocks much more but I am accurate with the Kahr and practice with it.

ok so...first post

1. cz-75 b .40 with crimsontrace laser grips in a crossbreed supertuck deluxe
2. ruger lcr with crimsontrace laser grips in either a dm bullard pocket holster or a crossbreed quickclip

and the third (which i don't yet own but am gun store stalking) is a kahr PM9 all black with crimsontrace grips

I work at a gun shop and the top 3 selling carry guns would be the Ruger LCP, Ruger LCR, and Sig 238. This new S&W bodygaurd in the 380 semi and the 38 revolver are starting to catch up with these and might even pass them before the year is up. I personally have the LCP and the Sig 238. I can't wait for the new Sig 290 9mm to come out.

Ruger SR9 - 17 rounds of firepower , RIA M1911A1 durability for a low price.

there are many guns that are great to have its all that fits in your hand and is to your liking. I own both the SR9 and RIA they are great guns to carry!
