Top five favorite rifles...

Savage 112 FVSS (7mm rem mag)-The best Savage of the last ten years.

Enfield P-14 or M1917-The toughest military bolt action ever designed and produced.

FN49-The Rolls Royce of battle rifles. Handle and shoot one sometime. Incredibly awesome.

FN-FAL-The right arm of the free world. Handy, powerful, used by 90 nations.


I have two FN's in my list of four. That means I don't need a fifth rifle.

But I'll play anyways:

AK-47-not really impressed with the construction but the function of these cheaper weapons is something the west has been chasing with little success since it's inception. Only with the arrival of the FAL could the westerner be equipped with a superior piece of equipment.

My list is going to be a little different.

1. SAKO TRG 22 (308) Bolt rifle. The Worlds most accurate rifle out of the box. I shoot 1/8" 5 shot groups with mine.

2. FN/FAL SA58 Para Elite Compact (308) Battle Rifle.

3. AK-47 The most reliable battle rifle in the world, H&K is a very close 2nd.

4. H&K G3

5. Armalite AR-50 (50BMG)


My Favorite handgun is my Kimber Eclipse 1911 45ACP.

P.S. I own 4 AR-15's but they don't fit in the above list. They are nice and fun to shoot, but I would not trust my life with one if I had to go into battle.
