old thread res from the dead. but Hey, I'm an HK kind of guy,
Problem is, I love them all.
USP full size

I voted for the HK4 because it is four guns in one.

Its certainly not my favorite HK, but it was a cool concept back then.

The HK4 was the company's first pistol. I'm lucky enough to own a mint condition complete set from the first year of production (1967). I don't think the barrels and mags were ever even taken out of the case. Back then H&R imported these pistols to the states for the then fledgling company.

Its actually only the 326th pistol HK built in early 1967. HK4 serial numbers started at 10001.

Just thought I'd share with the HK fans here...

:D

I don't have one, but do plan on getting one someday. Just a simple full size USP 9mm for the range. I like shooting quality guns just for the joy of knowing it is American made.

I think the tacticals need to be rolled into the full size category. The USP and USP tactical are great weapons, and the primary difference is the recoil spring and barrel... (except for the USP .45 Tactical which also has the match trigger, which is even better.)
