Traded into a Kimber Micro 9. What next?

My Micro 9 has been a reliable little shooter. I bought three spare mags off gun broker last fall, so far all have been great.

The oddest thing about the Micro 9 is the “reverse magazine floorplate” feel of the Mags. All of my other autos have a lip or hook facing forward, in the Micro 9 the extended portion of the floorplate faces to the rear. If you’re used to feeling the Mag with your hand when you’re reloading it is something to consider and train for. You don’t want to reverse the Mag and get crossed up under stress.

I like the Federal 150 gr Micro HST for my carry ammo now, it’s been reliable in both my LC 9 and Micro 9 and a good performer for others in gel tests for a few years now.

Stay safe.

I'm currently carrying 124 gr Federal "Punch" JHP's..as it's all I could find in a defensive ammo. It shoots to POA and is low impact recoil wise. My ammo of choice is a victim of current disaster in the supply chain. 86 gr ARX has succumbed to the times. I'm a huge proponent of that ammo concept. Currently looking for a suitable replacement.
