It would appear that I'm going to be PCS'ing to Alaska in the near future and have been trying to figure out the mechanics of getting my assorted firearms there. I'm going to be driving up on the Alcan and am trying to figure out what I can and cannot legally transport through Canada on a Form 909/910.
I was wondering if Canadian list members, or anyone else who is in the know on the topic, could help provide some information on the topic. Specifically, I'm concerned with the legality of transporting any of the following through Canada:
From what I've read, I think I need to ship high cap magazines seperately.

- AR-15 w. 16" barrel
- AK-47 and AK-74 (I think these are right out)
- FAL
- Para-FAL w. 16.25" barrel
- Sig 556
- Any restriction on transporting stripper or assembled AR-15 lowers?
