I've watched the 1st few episodes of "Flash Point" on network TV (9PM on Thursdays) hoping that there would be some real drama and decision-making moments from the viewpiont of the police sniper.
What I've seen so far is all fluff and one-liner quips about things that are very serious. It was too much to hope for any real Swat team input on HOW a police sniper prepares, qualifies and reacts afterward to what he is doing. Instead, we're treated to a couple of overly good-looking actors/actresses who completely blow off any real chance to get into the mind of someone who has such ultra-serious duties that can create real and unimagined stress in just about anyone.
what are your thoughts about this melo-drama?
