ULTIMATE 9MM carry gun?

If money was no object, I'd still carry what I carry now, a Glock 19. For the size:firepower ratio and reliability I have yet to find anything better.
 
If money were no object. I would carry an h&k mp5. Again since money is no object I would have the mmoney to get out of trouble when I inevitably get in trouble for carrying it.
 
guntick, its as they said all along. Americans are cheapskates that buy junk. The process to make a precise tool like the P7 out weighed the market for a bunch of junkies who like plastic. Simple.

I'd probably still carry a Glock 26. Its reliable, the right size, accurate and I've had a Glock for 15 years and am used to how they work. I don't see the point of changing for fashion's sake.
 
I will continue to carry my hobo grade S&W 457. It's just the right size/weight and fits perfectly into Uncle Mikes size 16 cordura hip holster. The knockdown power of 230gr slug is reassuring.
 
Springwalk in another thread was asking if a Jimenez was a safe gun.....
Obviously, needs to do more real research.
 
either a commander size 1911 like a pro carry or cz 75 compact, one is single stack, the other doulble stack. big plus you can carry both in condition 1. i really like the emp except they don't have a 3.5" or 4" model. i like carry guns that are fun to shoot at the range as well as carry. this way i not only want to practice with them but also enjoy it as well.

What does money have to do with Tupperware???

I've got several safes full, couple $1K+ 1911's, Handful of Hi Powers, many S&W revolvers, three .50's (Only one Barrett) etc...

And I choose a Glock.

(Ether a Pair of 26's or a 26 and a 19)

I've Carried those 1911's (Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 BTW, with a Milt Belt)

I'd probably carry a Hi Power if there were something like a Glock 26 to bakc it up with...

But while Glocks have NO class or soul (There's a .380 Colt on my armrest right now... another thread reminded me I owned one and I had to get it out to fondle... THERE's art!) they WORK!

Durable, effective etc.

Price WAS NOT an issue.

I'm single, When I'm between GF's all I spend money on are Guns and Motorcycles!:neener:

Kimbers are for showing to your friends....... Glocks are for showing to your enemies.
 
Gonna have to go with the Glock 26 if I can only have one. It works in a pocket, IWB, ankle, or any other use. You can use mags for all the 9mm Glock models, including the 33-rounder, or you can use the 10-rounder with no extension for deep concealment. It fits all roles well, and I can't think of another gun that does that with the efficiency of the G26.
 
I guess I could post the gun I have trusted my life with for 9 years, and it uses all CZ compact and full size mags, to include the factory 25 rounder if I wanted to look goofy. :) It won't work with the P-07 proprietary mag or the RAMI subcompact mags, but I can live with that. ;)

CZ P-01 9mm, and thast's all the wear it has for 9 years of every single day carry, though I did remove the CTG grips for that pic. They have some wear on them from the last 4.5 years. :)


Cockeman, nice little Taurus snub, love the pics, how does it shoot? I miss my 38spl Ultralite BUG, but it already saved the life of the guy I gave it to.

I changed my mind. I would/will carry a FN 5.7. OK, it isn't a 9mm, but it's close enough & the power of that round is fantastic. I think it is going to be my Christmas present to myself!!!! My Glock 27 isn't going to be too happy about this.

You REALLY need to do some more reading.

I was interested when it first came out...

But reading about the SWAT teams who shot a few people with their P90's and such... and then actually shooting the round...

Nooooooo.

It's a Glorified 17HMR...

That said, I've got some ammo if anyone is interested!:D
