Unique in 45-70

I have seen some guys recommend Unique powder for there lead loads in 45-70. I was wondering where you found that load data.

I am looking to load some reduced lead loads and was considering trying some Unique.

If you are loading with Unique what kinda of velocity are u getting out of your 405gr bullet loads?

I don't remember the load or the speed but man are they fun steel play at 200 yds and try to gong it.... Takes forever for it to get there lol

Unique is Alliant powder.

So I'd use Alliant data, page #45.

I only used Unique & 2400 with any bullet I ever shot in the 45-70
