So I rushed out to the range today before work and tested out 2 loads I have been working on for my DPMS 308 with a 16" barrel. 1st load 150 grain hornady fmj w/canalour line 42 grains of IMR 4895 Lake City brass col 2.717. 2nd load 168 grain Hornady A Max 41.5 grains 4895 Lake City brass col 2.790. Both loads shot at 1" @ 100 yds. No failures, jams, or problems. Now I just need to run it over my chronograph to get the velocity. Below is a picture of the military brass do the primers look flat? Any signs of pressure that anyone can see? There are three prices of remington brass for comparison. Thought feed back?
