1) A Glock revolver

2) Bring back the Medusa (but affordable)

3) walther ppk/s in 9mm luger

A 1911 that works and doesn't require a 500 round "break-in" period. It shouldn't require the owner to have a special relationship with it; it should just continue to work.

A good rattely loose as a goose old military issue 1911 with average to great accuracy depending on which way the parts happen to wiggle at the moment loaded with fmjs. :)

I like this one too.
What a shame that it exists only in "Fantasy Land".

You might want to check out a RIA (a good buy), and modify the grips (make them thinner), or get new replacement grips of your choosing.

Sig 239 with a flat front trigger guard instead of the current curved trigger guard.

Why?
Not criticizing, just asking.
The current rounded, sweeping front of the trigger guard appears to be the limiting factor resulting in very few outside the waistband holster choices. I think if it had a more traditional trigger profile more holster manufacturers would offer more options for this great carry pistol. I called Galco and asked them to consider offering their Avenger holster as an option for a 239. They told me no one carries a 239 "that way" which is outside the waistband in a vertical draw orientation.

Mateba Auto-revolver that's the size of the Chiappa Rhino (seriously; mine is like cartoon-big. I half-expected a "bang!" flag printed in cyberpunk font to pop out when I range tested it) but has a better DA trigger than either of them. Preferably DAO or with a decocker & manual safety, this time ;)

5.7x28 squeeze-bore mouse gun
5.7x28 chopped-down five-seven pistol (like, that's actually concealable)
Double stack 7.62x25 Browning-derivative
Single Stack 7.62x25 Pedersen-derivative (R51)
7.62x25 Glock thing (I won't buy, but want others to subsidize cheap ammo :D)
Break-Top 357mag that shoots from six-o-clock barrel, preferably autoloading

TCB

For a fantasy thread, this is a pathetic display of a lack of imagination. The only thing keeping most (all?) of the ideas in this thread from reality is a lack of intention to get out there and do it.

Fantasy? A glove that shoots laser beams from my index finger when I say the words, "Pew pew." My ultimate handgun.

Fist will make you a holster. They have 239's on their list. http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/gunlistA/

1) Bring back the HK P7M8

2) Make a P7M8 long slide

3) Bring back the P7K3 380 ACP

4) Bring back the Beretta Model 86

5) Bring back the Ruger Police Carbine 9

6) Someone create a 10mm carbine !

7) A pocket .32 ACP with decent sights

And I guess I'd like a Colt Python if it were less than $1,300

The greatest fantasy I see in a lot of this thread is "I want one new and different or old and good and CHEAP."

Unless you have a craving for yet another striker fired plastic Euro denominated gun, it isn't going to be cheap or even "reasonable."

But be of good heart, Count, the Pietta P1955 is projected at $600-$800. I figure that might be the importer's price but you might be able to actually buy one for less than $1300.

Another fantasy is that somebody might be willing to tool up for a gun in 7.62x25.
I don't think they are going to bring out a new pistol for you to shoot Iron Curtain surplus ammo in. And the price of fresh commercial ammo that might be tied to a new gun would be no different from any other factory load.

Just thought of something.

I have .22 conversion kits for Colt .45 and CZ 9mm. Very handy, especially when you could get .22 LR cheap.
But we need another step down for indoor practice.
I would be interested in a GOOD pellet conversion (or true replica gun) for one of my service pistols.

I'd be behind the pellet idea, so long as it was a magazine fed diesel.

Diesel, simple version: spring air pellet gun designed to inject nitro RC model engine fuel into air. When you pull the trigger the piston rapidly compresses the fuel/air charge, adiabatic heating raises the charge temperature above the flash point of the fuel, the fuel combusts, adding energy to drive the pellet forward with more energy than the spring contained and simultaneously re-cock the piston.

I suspect that if you did it right you could fire a 9mm pellet at 900+ fps from a reasonable barrel, or supersonic from a longer barrel. It would need to be very strong to withstand the combustion forces.

ed, they already have airguns that can shoot bullets fast enow to take big game. they are called PCPs. pre charged pneumatics.
the gun is filled from a scuba tank.
50 cal bullets can be fired close to the speed of sound.

I know, and if I could get over my confused dithering about different models and features I'd own one. I am a scuba diver and own three 3500psi scuba tanks, so it would be a natural fit.

However...I want a diesel. PCP airguns cannot diesel. I think the idea of a diesel airgun is cool and I wish someone would make a gun designed to diesel.

You can diesel most spring air guns manually, but they aren't designed for it and kaboom.

yeah, if i leak oil into my vantage it will diesel n i get higher fps but they tell me it will break the gun. mine will kill bunnies at 15 yards so that's enow for me. i think pcps would be great for you. my main objection is the cost of the scuba tank, but since you have them, go forit.
