...but my loving wife was having a very bad day. Christmas time is rough for her, too many memories of loved ones lost around this time of year, so it can be a time when she needs more love and support.
Santa Clause had made an early delivery. Just for her.






She'd always liked my PO1, and wanted one just like it, and so a little help from Santa brought her a new P01, with something else brand new - the pink pearlike grips from CZ-USA. I buffed up a pair of brass grip screws I'd had for a while, and it was a winner. She ooh'd and ahhh'd over her new CZ pistol, and asked me to post pics here and everywhere.

Very nice armoredman. I wouldn't mind being a good husband (or boyfriend in my case) either if mine wanted guns to cheer her up! That would make my job so much easier..haha!

Why is it that the holidays end up being more depressing than full of joy? I personally hate the holidays and the winter in general. I can't stand the cold, and holiday shopping is nothing but stressful (well, not in your case). Not to mention the fact that you spend all your money on gifts for other people...ugh...can't stand life from November through April. The only thing that keeps me sane is my gun collection and the internet!

Only 4 more months until the beautiful sun comes out and makes life good for me!

I hear what your saying. It's no picnic for me either. I don't like the holidays because of all the hype,my parents passing away and kinda sort of the cold. I don't mind spending money on my son or husband. I just hate the crowds and rude people. I said all this just so you know your not alone. I dislike the holidays but not the meaning.

Shot it yesterday afternoon, very cold windy day, and I can say is it seems to like full power 115gr loads, will load up more. It works just fine, but shooting while shivering gives lousy groups.

a few thoughts

I would like to say that on christmas the only thing that matters is spending time with family,sadly its become more about presents,but as adults we should try to focus on the fact that for some of us, we only see the family together as a whole on these special holidaysnand that is what makes them special, not presents,if you have kids its hard to preach this, so you buy presents, but if oyu have lost family during this time the bet present is knowing those you still have love you and (if you are religious) it will help you to think about them being in a better place, and that is a sweet gun.Is it for cc or just plinking.
