What ammo have you bought 2022

We have an Academy close by. They were totally out of ammo for so long that I stopped checking on them. But when hunting online for some 123 grain 6.5 Hornady SSTs, Academy popped up and the local store showed them in stock. When I stopped by, they also had a reasonable selection of basic ammo as well as a pretty good selection of Hornady bullets. No primers, though.

I purchased 5 boxes of 350 Legend, Win 180 grain hunting ammo for $19/box at Sportsman Warehouse. That’s it.

In Dunhams the other day. Had the first 410 bore shells I've seen in about 2 years. 5 round box of slugs for $37. and change. No, Not this fool.
The last I bought was $5.89 at Dunhams .
In walmart yesterday. Winchester super x 22lr for $40 and change for 300. No.
I don't have thousands and thousands of rounds like some.
But, I have enough to do me for a long long time.
I'm finished playing this sucker game. Others can play on if they want.
This fool is finished. If it's not Within Reason. No Sale.

A little over 10k rounds of Speer Gold dot. I remember last winter that there were times you couldn't even find it at any price and I never want to be without it. I will keep most of them and maybe sell the rest.

"None. In fact I have not purchased any factory ammo in 3 or 4 years, and then it was .22 rimfire. I reload everything else."

This.
Okay, I bought my MIL a box of .380 and sent it to her.
I would buy some SP primers if I could find some, but I'll survive a while with the components I have.

So far this year?

120 rds of S&B 8mm Mauser, probably 400rds of WMR, 1 box .380, 100 rd box of .45acp, 300 rds of 7.62x39, 200rds of 7.62x54r, 1 box 7.7 Arisaka, 1 box of 6.5 Arisaka, 1 old box of 25-20, 1200ish rds of .22lr, 120 rds of M1 30-06, 2 boxes of Federal .30-30 Hammerdown, 500ish rds of 12ga target loads.

I'm getting a Browning BDA in .380 and only have maybe 3 boxes of ammo so now I gotta stuck up on .380

A bunch of Remington Gun Club 1 1/8 7 1/2 at $7.99, 4 box a day limit. How many? Just say I was shocked when I printed out my debit card printout to balance the checkbook. Also, 2 boxes of 9 mm fmj at well under $20/box. I like it for new gun break in. Powder, wads, shot, moulds

Last night I ordered 250 rounds 158 grain fmj, 50 rounds of 158 grain hp in 38 special and a 30 round box of 223 off of normashooting.com. they seem to have good prices when you account for free shipping over $150. They have a good price on 9mm makarov but I can't justify buying anymore considering I have around 900 rounds of tula and I don't shoot it too often.
38 special fmj- $.46 cpr
38 special hp- $.60 cpr
223 fmj- $.50 cpr
What are you guys picking up?
I bought one box of .380 at my LGS last month, then today:

1) Underwood .380 ACP hardcast
2) Underwood .38 Special +P hardcast
.38 Special +P 158gr. Keith Hi-Tek Coated Hard Cast Hunting Ammo (underwoodammo.com)
Look at the specs on those. Bestial.
3) Underwood .32 ACP Extreme defender

Only ammo I have bought in the last year and a half was in December 2021 and then January 2022. It was all .45 ammo. I bought bulk range and carry ammo for delivery. I went back to carrying my .45 more and I am going to take a defensive pistol class next week so I have been shooting more than normal.

I've only bought 5.56 from the LGS when it comes in. We're still restricted to two boxes, and it's $11.99 per box for Frontier ammo.

Seems to work OK. It's one of three calibers I don't reload for; .22 LR, .223, and .45 acp.

I have plenty of powder, plenty of bullets, plenty of lead to make more bullets, plenty of cases, and plenty of primers in everything except small pistol. I had about three years worth of shooting saved up, and it's going on two years since I've seen small pistol primers for sale. Getting nervous.

I have only bought 22lr and 12 Guage target. I load 9mm. I just bought an AR so I will.be looking for 556/223. I have some 223 from loading it years ago.

Not sure I want to load 223 again after having only loaded straight walled cartridges for quite a few years.

I won't be buying shotgun shells, I sold my Shotgun after a shooting buddy died from Covid.

Well, were just a month in-give it time. So, far I've bought 4 50 rd. boxes of .22 WMR CCI FMJ for my son for use at work. He works at a slaughterhouse.

Hi...
Haven't bought much factory ammunition in several decades other than .22RLR/22Mag and 12ga shotgun shells. I reload everything else.
I will occasionally buy some of factory ammunition when I buy a firearm in a new to me caliber, like when I bought a BlackHawk in .30Carbine last year.
I do buy a couple of boxes of Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertips in 7mm Magnum when needed because it is just amazingly accurate in my rifle and is very effective on game animals.

I’ve not bought much this year, but I still look and pick up what makes sense.

Mostly Walmart…bought 6 boxes of .22LR (two separate visits a few weeks apart) of Federal 40gr, 325 rounds, for $22 per box.

Also ordered 3 boxes of .410 #9 from Midway. Cost me $70 total delivered but it was to trade to a friend for 3 boxes of Rem Corelok 170gr 30-30.

Finally, buying 50 rounds of 30-30 for $60 from a small local ammo maker. All new components and commercial grade equipment. A “friend of a friend” kinda deal, but my friend checked and not some guy on a Dillon in his garage. I’ll give him a shot.

I have bought some 22 LR this year locally. I haven't purchased any centerfire ammo since Walmart got rid of their pistol ammo and I bought some 380 then.

I saw that Academy had the inexpensive Aguila but it is over 100 miles to the nearest store. They also had it for internet sales but with a 4 box limit and 8 bucks shipping, not exactly a screaming deal, so I let it go. Evidently their free shipping with a $25 purchase is gone.
