For things that go boom:

Minimum: 6 rounds of .380
Maximum: 25 rounds of .45 (including a spare mag), 6 rounds of .380 backup.

Usually somewhere in between, same as always.

.40S&W XD-sub day to day, Would love to switch to 10mm for the winter. When I'm in the woods .44 Mag Hunter. -wingnut13

I always carry a .45 either a subcompact or a full sized 1911 and one spare mag.
Always with a bug also, .380 or 9mm.

.32 with FMJ.

I was going to the playground alot, and dance class for 2 y/o, wouldn't want to scare some poor mother, and it fits in my pocket.

I have a 3 piece rotation: 9mm, 38spl, and 380. Which one I'm carrying depends on how I'm dressed that day.

Kel-Tec .32 ACP when I do carry, but all and all it is pretty safe here in Idaho compared
to other parts of the country I have lived in, I'm sorry to have to say.

Right now, I rotate between 9mm and .45ACP. Although, given the overall size/weight of my .45, I do not find it very "accomodating" as a CCW. Rather, I find it more useful for HD duty. So, I generally prefer the 9mm (3.6" single stack). In the near future I will be looking in to the .40 S&W caliber (for CC) in that I feel it may offer a bit more "stopping power" vs. the 9mm.

Mainly 45acp, but I've started carrying an extra mag just incase...

9mm in a KelTec with two mags (one in gun with 8 rounds), and a spare mag for backup with 8 more.

In the winter, or colder days, a Glock 17 with a loaded 17 round mag, and two spare 17-rounders.

Just switched to a 10mm Glock with one spare mag and a j-frame smith or walther ppk as BUG. Needed something with a bit more punch than my usual carry.

.40 w spare mag primary in an IWB holster, sometimes .380 bug in pocket holster or ankle holster. sometimes .45 w spare mag in place of the .40 if I can suitably conceal it.
