380 in summer, 45 in winter.

22 mag as occasional backup or when nothing bigger will conceal.

Hello friends and neighbors // 38+P everyday /// 357 magnum in rural/woods

I carried IWB 586 6" 357/38 as do all revolver. One tool for many things wilderness and city. One revolver was all I could afford so I got what I considered the best.
I'm sure folks wondered why I rarely sat down.

Now I always carry 442-2, 1 7/8" airweight with 38+P JHP either in pocket or IWB and add 586, 357/38 open carry when hiking or hunting.
The difference in comfort and accessability is amazing. Not to mention being able to sit easily.

I am confident in the 38+P for city/home (up close) but still prefer the 357 mag. in a more rural (yards not feet) environment.

Just depends on what i'm wearing :)
Today, I felt like packing a big heavy 4" 686 loaded up with .357 JHP. Tomorrow? Maybe a 9mm or Model 36...who knows:)

9mm in a HP form.Easy to shoot and easy to hit the target where it counts. After all it's about bullet placement not caliber that counts.A 15-18 round mag. is more than enough for civilian use.

I carry a Taurus 627 357mag 7 shot 4"barrel as primary BUG Taurus 617 357mag 7 shot
2" barrel and a Keltec 380 with a hoster clip in side my boot.

You should have included a poll.

SA XD Compact, .45 ACP, 11 +1.

Going to start carrying the 13 rd spare mag, and a 3" fixed blade knife, soon (I realized the gun won't be very useful if I get grabbed from behind).

No plans on carrying a BUG, although I would like to have a long gun in the jeep if I ever live in a state that permits it. May just get a Hi-Point pistol to keep in there instead.

Plan on eventually getting a 9mm subcompact (Kahr or something) for those times when I actually care about good concealment.

Bein' in Texas, large caliber carry in the summer can be a challenge, but whenever possible it's one of my .45's - either a Randall LeMay or a Wilson Sentinel. ALWAYS (where legal) either a Sig P238 or Colt Mustang in a pocket holster. Yeah...I have multiples of everything - for one thing, when I detail strip I don't like bein' in a hurry to put 'em back together for carry. For another, my goal is to have as many pistols as my wife has shoes..... :D

GLOCK 17 or 19 depending on mood with a S&W 360 as a BUG, the latter is always on my person and the 17 W/TLR being primarily a bedside or arms reach pistol while in the house.

Glock 22 .40S&W loaded with Winchester Ranger 180 gr. Bonded JHP in a Gould and Goodrich shoulder holster. even with a light over shirt you can't tell I'm carrying, and it's great in the winter with a heavy coat on.
