My EDC is a 1911 Dan Wesson CBOB. I love the power of the .45auto and the slim factor of the 1911. Add to that the bobtail design and I've got a winner!

Taurus 709 Slim. 9mm. Just qualified with it yesterday so now it can be my EDC. Of course, for most occasions, I will still have the Glock 26 and for work, it will be the Glock 34. I am a 9mm kind of guy.

45 ACP, because they don't make a 46 :D

But during the winter time when it is cold outside I will have my 45 on my hip, will also carry 85UL in my jacket pocket loaded with 38 special

The only thing practical for me to carry today is the Bersa Thunder .380 Del. With an IWB it doesn't print as much. Sometimes it's all about where I'm going and what I have to wear. At times I wish I had more choices. May have to do something about that. This would be a good day for the Bond Arms .410/.45 3" as a bug. I just don't wanna spend the $$. lol

2.25" SP101 loaded with .357 fits my bill everyday. I'd love to pack around the 1911, but it makes me look like I'm trying to smuggle a lamp under my shirt.

Glock 26-9MM w/Bauer .25 auto back-up w/glaser safety slugs.
Gettin heavy--thinking of switching to Kel-Tec P-3at--.380 ( about 8 oz. )

Well, I live in California, which means it's virtually impossible to get a CCW permit. I've also never owned a handgun until now, as I've decided with the economy, judge mandated prisoner releases, budget cutbacks and layoffs at our local police and sheriff's departments, that the time has finally come when I needed to get a handgun. Interestingly, our county sheriff was on a local radio show last week, and he advocated that citizens buy a gun to protect themselves, saying that, for all the reasons I identified above, that our local police and sheriff departments cannot be depended upon to protect law abiding citizens anymore, and that everyone needs to own a guy and be responsible for their own safety and protection.

With all that in mind, if I were to answer the question in the future, my answer would be .45acp. I just bought a Colt 1991A1, series 80.
