Neither have I. That $2600 pricetag is more than some in the way, too. Can't imagine what magazines cost for the beast, either.
Although I imagine it's a thoroughly satisfying way to put 338 down range.

Oh, THAT .338. I actually have a pile of Lapua brass picked up the couple of months after the Ruger Precision Rifle in that caliber came out. I could never bring myself to get one even though it was tempting. But every time I saw someone at our range blasting through round after round of ammo I thought "$5, $5, $5...."

I had planned on a .338 Norma Mag for my 1-1.5 mile option but glad I waited until the .300 PRC came out. Now I just need Triple C to open back up so I have easy access to a nice, long range again. Sigh......:(

Taurus Model 44 (.44 Magnum) revolver with ~6.5" barrel. Priced $650. Also, a whole bunch of other revolvers in .357 and 38 Special and other calibers.

At both shops in the last few days, just wall-to—wall guns and they fill every glass display case.

They had little extra room for any.
Maybe some people are selling their “Defund @@“ guns from 2020 - as was predicted?:scrutiny:

    Sales seem slow?

You mean one of THESE?? LOL! Shoot me a PM with your address and I'll GIVE you this one. I have a habit of doing that... Ask Troy... This part is a proper safety for a type 38. The indented rim safety is off of a type 99. They don't interchange.

    Postage is on my...

Hickock 45 has already demonstrated, in one of his videos, the WRONG way to load an M-60, when he was trying to force the cover closed with the bolt in the forward position.

But he is entertaining and I like him.

To answer the OPs question, very little, No primers, almost no powder but a few ARs and M-1As were on the shelves. 9mm was about the only pistol round available. Lots of overpriced buckshot at over a dollar a shot. Curiously enough, lots of 28 gauge ammo.

Thanks, but issue already fixed, posted here: What gunsmithing or repairs have you done today but hey, you should sell it, not give it away. They're almost impossible to find. I'll bet you could get 50 bucks on ebay.

I prefer to give things away that I got for free, or no longer have a use for. I have been blessed by having many friends that have given me things in the past, from guns and parts, up to a 99% T-series Hi-power that was never fired after leaving the factory. ( I'm not giving THAT one away!!!) It feels good to help out fellow gun people in need and that is compensation enough.

We don't have an LGS anymore (it went out of business). I only have two pawn-shops that have FFLs. And since this is Sunday, neither of them were open.

That's a shame. Hopefully you don't have too far to drive to get to some good gun shops.

I found a new LGS the other day; was shocked to see one IN the city. (Kenosha, WI)

I went in to buy some ammo for my bachelor party this weekend and look at some CCWs.

It has been many moons since I’ve shot a gun; been into PCP air rifles lately, and I didn’t check prices first, so over paid on a box of 9mm and two boxes of .22.

After checking out a Springfield, Glock 43 and Sig Sauer P365, I bought the P365. Paid $150 too much for that, compared to Bud’s price. It was nice to support a new LGS though. They were quite helpful. Thinking about adding a 12 round mag and magazine loader for it…

They had one wall covered with body armor, which is disturbing to me somehow. (school shooters are showing up with it now…)

I got to shoot a box and a half of ammo through the P365 Saturday and it was great. Recoil wasn’t bad and I shot it more accurately than I thought I would: fist-sized 15 shot group at 7 yards, standing offhand.

There’s another gun shop maybe 40 minutes away I need to stop in some day; it’s one of those country gun shops that has been there forever.

CCI 550s at $150 per $1,000.00 Cool that they had 4k in stock but damn that price!
A beautiful CZ97 that will be mine.
Another person looking at and then buying a pretty clean Enfield Jungle Carbine
A ton of people picking up guns (After the California ten day wait, not like in America where you can just buy a gun and walk out, other than C&R with an FFL03)

Many revolvers but particularly of interest were two S&W Model 19 .357 Magnums:

    19-5 with a leather case for $950

19-3 with original box for $650

At my mothers in eastern Washington. Walked into the local hunting/fishing store and picked up another magazine for the Keltec PMR30. Also grabbed some bottles of game scent (urine) (coyote/fox/cougar).

Left there and drove to Deer Park Washington. Years ago stumbled across a pawn shop there that is actually a gun dealer(more new than used guns) They have an inventory of several hundred guns. Browsed around for about 50 minutes and decided there was absolutely nothing in the racks that piqued my interest. I did leave with two sleeves of CCI Small Pistol Primers and a 1,400 round bucket of Remington Bucket O’ Bullets in 22LR for $109.00.

Had they not had the 1 bucket per person limit I would have walked out with 3 of the 4 buckets sitting on the shelf behind the counter. Since the madness started 3+ years ago I have a self imposed policy that I don’t take the last of something in ammo/reloading supplies off the store shelf.

Heading home tomorrow and plan to stop in a small Montana town with an out of the way gun shop. A local caster always has some hard cast gas checked .357/.44mag and .45 Colt on consignment whenever I stop by. I’ve also had luck in there with Unique and Trail Boss….

Yeah. Can't figure the price differential unless it is based on condition or the -5 is improved in some way over the -3.

S&W Model 32-1 revolver. 5 shots of 38 S&W (Not 38 Special). It has fake pearl grips. Think they are asking around $450.

Checked them out, the last one is kind of beat up and had a crack in the wood grip. The more expensive one is in much better condition.

Sounds like good bartering fuel if it's mechanically sound. Grips are cheap on plentiful on ebay etc.

I saw on-line a .223 Wylde 20" upper for sale for around $465.00 plus tax and s+h at the link below:
    https://www.shawcustombarrels.com/shop/product/223-wylde-upper-assembly/201
I want to purchase one to train to engage targets at 600+ yds with 77Gr SMK reloads, but I hesitated just because there is not a whole lot of reviews on those products that I could find. The upper does not come with BCG, so I would have to purchase it separate. No big deal, since I could find one for under $80.
    Any input is welcome.
