What do I do with $250 worth of Cabela's Gift Cards?

Until we get a Cabela's in the Denver Metro area we used to drive to Nebraska to do our shopping 'in person'. If you wait til say, the 3rd week of January the bargain cave will be FULL of Christmas returns. It's a good way to turn those gift cards into savings since that stuff cannot be sold as "new."

Finding a cafe inside was a big surprise on my first trip to a Cabela's. It's just become a habit now when I get the chance to visit one of their shops to buy a sandwich, even if I'm just window shopping the Gun Library.

FYI in the Bargain Cave at the Glendale, AZ Cabela's is a .58 cal Pedersoli Howdah pistol if anyone is interested.

Right now Cabelas has a 20 off 150 on there web site. Print it out and then ask "what to do with $270". Expires on the 6th. Dave

If you want to just be able to practice trigger control for that 6mm at a little less price, you can find a nice bolt action .22 LR with some glass for around that price. (maybe a little more)

That's just another option, overall, I am on the bandwagon for something in .22 LR.... But I do love my 1911's ;)

UPDATE:

Went to Cabela's last night with my game face on, fully prepared to use up the gift cards. They didn't have even one 10/22 in stock! Passed by the reloading stuff and shook my head, even my girlfriend said "Look, i dont think you would have the patience for that kind of stuff". Went to the Bargain Cave, there was only one thing of interest, a Trijicon RMR with mount for $432.

The whole store seemed ravaged from the holidays, and the gun counter "kids" didn't seem to care anymore.

That is a good idea, I guess I will have to be patient.
