Electrician/electrical supervisor at small local defense contractor. Of necessity, due to home here and cabin in Shenandoah valley, guns are on 1 every 2 years plan.
Everyday driver is '02 Subaru Forester, no domestic all-wheel drives available with manual transmission, proving the ascendance of Wuss Nation.:banghead: When I want to feel like a man again, I drive my '91 full size Bronco. It's kind of hard on the wallet, but after 160,000 miles that 302 still pulls strong. Bring back the Bronco, with solid axles on both ends and a Powerstroke V-6. And a STICK SHIFT standard. Sorry. Wuss Nation gets to me.

What do I do, you ask? I help keep the jets in the air so we can get steel on target!
And it looks like I might be deploying in the January timeframe-ish, so MONEY! :D
Of course, being an A1C (E-3) I don't make so much, but saving isn't too hard since most expenses are paid for.

I forgot to mention I own a 2003 Ford F250, Turbo Diesel, 4WD short bed (80k miles). Unlike many, this one has been off road many times. I have driven off road all night several times. Dig around the inside and you will find plenty of live and expended ammo rolling around. Empty ammo boxes in the bed along with an assortment of steel targets. It has had several big game animals lying in back and has the inside of the tailgate caved in from hauling a 55 gallon drum full of wheelweights destined for cast bullets. This isn't a show truck.

Oh and I got a BMW 325i also. It's all dat.:D

I'm a Utilities Engineer for a small municipality. I review drawings for new construction that is proposed and I tell the design engineers what can and cannot be accepted. I also answer any questions about Utilities (water/sewer/storm water) and I get called for any emergencies (i.e. my house just got flooded).

Most days it's slow...but when it rains here, it pours (yes, that was a stormwater pun:D)

Professional arms dealer, planning to go back to school this summer for a degree in engineering, film, English/writing, and/or photography. Drive a '95 Crown Victoria, nearing 180,000.

Have done mostly retail--Borders Books, Drew's Tobacco World, Wheaton (MD) Music, and Target (briefly). Have also worked as a Medicare filer.

Future? Thinking of going to law school for patent law, been flying helicopters for 8 out of the last 11 years, and am getting burned out. As of late, have lost too many friends in non-combat accidents due to an aging and unreliable aircraft that should have been replaced/upgraded 5 years ago.

Professor of Environmental Engineering at an engineering university.

Started by getting drafted in '67 after 2 years in college. Went back to college 2 years later.

Now, I work with mining and petroleum companies to develop technologies that permit them to meet environmental requirements as inexpensively as possible. We developed a technology that uses microbes to treat acid mine drainage. We feed the microbes composted livestock manure. So, I often shovel s... manure for a living.

At the invitation of mining companies, I do environmental audits of mining operations in South Africa, Mali (West Africa), Brazil, and India. I help set up water treatment and sanitation operations as well as solid waste disposal in Nepal.

I teach courses in fundamentals of environmental engineering; mathematical modeling of contaminant fate and transport; natural and engineered environmental systems; mining and the environment; engineering teamwork and communications.

And, I am the only motorcycle riding, gun shooting, banjo playing faculty on campus.

Was a Corrections Officer until my knee fell apart. Now I spend time playing with my horses and moving other peoples horses. Drive an F-250 Super Duty, the best of the big three for horse hauling.

Horses are a lot like inmates, except they are smarter, smell better and appreciate what you do for them.

Another Rocket Scientist here.

Degrees are Mech. Eng. w/ MBA

Have been:
Gun Counter Sales at a sporting goods store
Medical Seating Engineer
Field Engineer with Locomotives (Not the guy who drives them, I directed troubleshooting and repair of digital subsystems)

Now I'm a Rocket Scientist (aka Payload Test Engineer). Actually it's pretty easy once you get the 3 basics:
-Pointy end up
-Gas in the middle
-Fire out the bottom

And certified gun-nut, although I let my C&R expire, I still have a little picture ID from the Sherrif's office :)

Another nother rocket scientist. Almost finished the PhD. in Aerospace engineering. With a wife and two kids, this means I'm poor. Can't wait to get a real job and fill the ol' gun cabinet with goodies. :)

Just graduated college in December, jobless, but currently seeking employment, have been for several months. I have been offered some stupid jobs like at Lowe's and crap but nothing worth biting on yet. By the way I went to school for Graphic Design so if anyone knows an AD agency or something LOL, then please by all means help a brother out. The interviews I have been on so far are from people that do not want to pay jack, like less than $25K a year which isn't anything. I don't want to get rich but I would like to live comfy.
