I work for a local Ambulance Service as an EMT-Intermediate. I'll be going to Paramedic school soon.

My POVs are all Dodges, but I drive a Ford van ambulance. It'll go 98 MPH all day long too.

SCSA for the ch-Air Force. It bugs the hell out of them that they have to rely on a former jarhead to keep their UNIX boxes running. :D

Used to be a truck driver, a heavy equipment operator (wheel loaders, road graders, and one godawful big Fiat dozer), welder, cow doctor, and "solid waste technician". The benefits of growing up feeding cattle. Had to join the Marines just to get a day off!

Between DC rent and a Carolina house payment, my sea pay is my "play" money...:cuss:
I'm NOT a ford fan either... Own two Chevys built in Arlington, TX 94 Cop car and 95 Impala SS (my other hobby).

I just recently started as a 911 Call Taker/Dispatcher. I'm a volunteer EMT-B as well. The most rewarding job I have is Husband/Father, just can't beat the benefits.

I'm a graduate student in rhetoric and scientific and technical communication, so I can teach composition, public speaking, technical writing, or if things work out in the fall, a senior-level course on interviewing methods.

I currently work for the Evil Empire(wal-mart) while I am finishing school, after that I believe I have my choice of two jobs, one with the Park Service and one with a biodiesel company. I still have not decided which one as the park service is just temporary to start.

Interesting thread... I'm a Mechanical Engineer and own an HVAC/R contracting business. Right now, most of my extra money gets plowed back into growing the organization.

While you can't buy guns or ammo in the short term with business equity, that's the joys of bootstrapping!

Rock Creek Barrels...

I work as a machinist for a single-point cut-rifling barrel making company. We make match quality barrels for nearly anything, from .22 to 20mm.

I'm a semi-employed event/photo-journalist/publisher (used to work full time now on-call for a few friendly editors), DTPer, Programmer (VB.net cert.) and a computer tech/refurblisher. A friend who owns a computer salvage business and I pick-up older business computer systems from corporations (no individuals) and either strap them or F-disk the HDs and resell them.

Hotel Clerk, student/ROTC cadet, USAR. After graduation I'll be an officer in the Army Reserve, and will probably end up using my Int'l Relations degree working at a restaurant like all the other poli sci graduates I know.

Retired at 51. I now goof off full time.

I am doing it with such vigor that I am trying to get some sort of professional certification as a goof off. Perhaps develope it into a growing new employement field.

I'm a Chef at the world's largest lead and zinc mine called Red Dog. Situated in the middle of no where above the Arctic Circle in Alaska. Work 3 weeks on and get 3 weeks off. Also own my own Commercial Kitchen Exhaust cleaning business.
