Funny that this thread should come up. Just last weekend I was looking at my stack of shotgun and rifle boxes and thinking "Why am I keeping these?"
None of them are from collectibles - a couple of Browning A-Bolts, one or two Browning A-5s, a Remington 1100, a Ruger 10/22....etc.
They are stacked on top of a shelf in the basement. Not really bothering anything so I guess I'll keep them.
I keep all my handgun boxes for sure.

I saved the handgun boxes and threw away most of the long gun boxes. Some original boxes are actually quite valuable as most know that visit flea bay and looks at the gun boxes that are available. I'ver seen a couple that went for $1000.
