What does your WIFE carry?

A person who wants protection and may not have time to practice - I would go with a S&W revolver in .38 special

Another nice option is the Sig P232 or 230 in 380 ACP - if an auto loader is preferred.

If practice is an option (And a larger weapon can be handled), then a Sig P225 or HK P7 PSP either in 9mm

It was a tough road to find my wife the firearms she wanted and fit her tiny hands.

The first gun that is still her favorite is S&W442. The second she had initially problems with (that practice cured) was G26. Her BUG is an LCP. At times she borrows one of my 1911s or Beretta 92FS.

She has numerous holsters for every gun for every imaginable situation, but she mostly carries AIWB.

She loves to shoot a shotgun as well as the EBR.

I keep losing S&W mod 10s with hogue grips to girl friends....they keep getting confiscated after taking them to the range with 158gr wad cutters. They arent collecters just old shooters.

Nothing but smiles and I didnt even mind. ;)
My Ex-GFs are some of my best friends.

Sixteen years ago, I had a Colt Det. Spl.It had a trigger job and Hogue grips. Looked brand new. Then I got married and my Colt soon disappeared. My wife carries a Galco pocket book or an Acker IWB holster.

P.S. I don't mind holding her purse for her. It's as close as I'll ever get to my money and my Colt.

A kimber pepper blaster till she gets her permit.

It was inevitable that the thread would eventually take a humorous tilt--Priceless (LOL)!

-Cheers

Credit card debt. It's so far considered 'less than lethal', but it's a heck of a blunt instrument. Been beating down her 401K for years.

And a .357/ .38+p loaded Taurus snubby.

My wife usually carries her Kel-Tec P3-at .380acp, but has been known to carry HER 4" Ruger Stainless Security-Six .357mag. She used to work for Loomis Fargo & Co. It was her duty piece.

A Taurus .357 in a Crossbreed or belly band, pepper spray, a kubaton, and a Kershaw Chive.

We are looking at getting her a Ruger LCP in a Flashbang for summer carry.

A Kimber Ultra Raptor. I knew I shouldn't have given her the combination to the gun safe!

CZ 2075 RAMI. First one in the Western US, with Hakan Pek grips. She loves it. Took four revolvers and 4 autos before I learned the most important lesson - let HER pick out HER gun. Geez, I coulda saved a bundle...

I'm buying my wife the S&W M&P Shield 9. I know she'll love it. If not, it will join my CC rotation.

My next choice for her would be the Sig P938. She's a fan of the P238, so its a natural choice. Again, if she doesn't like it, it goes into my stable.

If those fail, which they won't, I might go with the Ruger SR9c.

She didn't care for my Glock or Kahr at the range. She loves to shoot our Sig SP2022, but it's a bit large for her to CC.

Carrying in her purse is NOT an option. It will be on her body. Need to narrow that down soon.
