What gun gave you that special feeling?

I have to choose the Walther P88. When I was a kid a always thought they were cool looking. When I finally bought one, man was I giddy. I have to say though, when I bought my P88 Compact I was, and still am, torn between the two. Both are very accurate and very cool. Needless to say I'm a Walther fan, 3 P99's and a P5 in addition to the 88's.:)

My M1 Carbine feels like that, after I gently sanded the stock a little, and applied Tung oil.

My Mossberg 500 also feels like that, after having a shorter stock installed.

A year ago, I would have said the M1911. Now it's the M1 Garand. I had held a few at our local gun show, and I finally bought one last july. I couldn't wait to take it to the range. I have three words for this rifle: Accuracy, balance, and ACCURACY. Throw in the gun's history and I have the perfect firearm. That first one was made in 1944, and I have since bought a new one to keep it company. I love it when I have them both at the range and an old war veteran approaches me to tell me his stories.

Pistol. '43 Manufactured P-35 w/Waffenampt markings, and the brightest bore I've ever seen on a vintage gun. Fit like a glove, couldn't miss with it.
Still mad at my Dad for selling it without giving me first dibs.:(

Rifle. M60. Seventeen years old, ROTC. The most fun a 17 year old boy can have with his pants on. I didn't care that it weighed 23 lbs, and was nicknamed 'The Pig' , it was LOVE.....until the M249 came around....

Shotgun. My first 1100. I can snap a Remington 1100/11-87/11-48/870/742/7400/760/522/572 up and it's right there, every time. Gotta love 'em!:)

Honorable mention: MP5SD. Cool. Just flat out cool.
