I can't get into anything that says ".357 Magnum" on it. It's just an obnoxious cartridge to me. I have revolvers chambered in smaller and larger cartridges that do what I need done better than the .357 can.
I don't care for any handgun which requires a scope, or which already has one mounted. (Unless I could buy it RIGHT, and the factory rear sight was available.)
Wide-body 1911s.
I can't think of a (cartridge) handgun of over .45 bore that interests me, except for the Vickers-Fosbery .500.
Pocket pistols too large and heavy for their power.
Again - -If YOU like 'em, then bless you. Leaves more old Smiths and Colts and Rugers for ME!
B.U.G's, pocket guns, mouse guns, in general. I tried 'em, but the comprimise in power, accuracy, reliablity, etc. just don't blow my dress up. I'd rather have a good compact belt gun as compared to a GREAT pocket gun.
These don't do it for me. They are OK guns, but they just don't make me want to go shoot them. I have tried them though.
The Ruger P Series.
Glocks
Sigs
nuttin alloy..alloy/steel....alloy/plastic.I like something that looks like someone spent a bunch of time making it from materials such as carbon steel and stainless steel.I dunno why but its like comparing an original tempered and pounded 75 times steel blade -artfully built- to a $10 flea market copy.I dont like stuff that rattles from slide to frame tolerances being sloppy...even if it works..its just annoying.I am annoyed at the substitution of plastic parts where there used to be steel either for weight saving issues or manufacturing costs.
...............any Taurus product, Beretta's, Ruger autos, HK USP, Para Ordnance, Glocks, and Kahrs. Please believe me when I say that each of the brands I have rejected came from owning and shooting more than one of them. Good shooting
As far as a flat out "I'd sell it if I won it" that honor goes to any S&W Auto. The looks do nothing for me, and the egro's don't fit me at all.
I'm also not a big fan of the 1911. I've shot a couple, and I do well with them. I like the .45 ACP cartridge. Just not a big fan of the 1911...but, if I won one or something, I'd probably grow to like it.
No polymer models for me please. No S&W pistols except the M39 and M52. No Sigs, H&K, Ruger pistols (even their .22s), or many others to numerous to name.
I now have 1911's but have to say I am not overly ''smitten'' ... but most of all .... I HATE Glocks ... sorry Glockers .... it ain't a ''tupperware'' thing .. I mean, I have two P series Rugers but Glocks .... YUK!
Snub-nose revolvers. I like them as a piece of engineering. Hate to shoot them.
Glocks. I can't get used to the ugly blocky look. Hate the trigger.
Most any DA/SA blundernine. Can't get used to the trigger. Sig especially makes a great pistol but no amount of engineering can make that first shot any easier.
Most double-stack pistols 9mm or higher caliber. They are all too big for my hands. Hi-Powers being the exception.
All Ruger firearms. Only suitable for use as boat-anchors or jackhandles.
