To be honest with you all, I haven't bought a thing. I was going to pick up some regular capacity mags but I decided to pay off all the credit cards and get the car ready for emissions this month.

Other than regular capacity mags, I really can't see myself needing any of the other stuff.

Am I crazy?:D

Ordered me a Rock River Arms Elite Carbine A4. Also ordered 4 30-round magazines from Tapco, which I won't be getting for awhile it's sounding like. That'll be all my Post-AWB purchases until my funds get replenished.:p

I bought a Para-Ordnance 14-45LDA. It's a pistol I've been wanting for awhile now anyways. Now that P-O has an offer for two free 14 round mags to go with the two 10 rounders that came with the gun, I decided the heck with it, I'd get it.

I also purchased a collapsible stock to put on my SAR-1. (Well, I actually bought the stock before the ban sunset, but it didn't officially go on until afterwards.)

OEF_VET,

So you got 4 mags for the price of two? Did you have to pay shipping for the regular cap mags?

Who else is having offers on mags like that? I think Beretta was one of the other ones?

I've built an all-RRA (except for a DPMS lower receiver) no-ban carbine with telescoping stock.

I bought RRA's post-ban A4 upper, because the primary banned feature I wanted was the stock; the bayonet lug and flash hider are nifty and all, and I might consider threading the barrel and adding a flash hider at some point, but the thing I really really wanted all during the ban was a carbine with an adjustable stock.

My Sunset party money has been swallowed by unexpected modifications I had to make to my Norinco M-14.

Seems the 7.62 bore in the barrel was actually the Russian size of 7.62.

In other words, I was getting lousy groups out of the rifle because I was putting .308 inch bullets down a bore that was .311 inches wide.

Ooops..

So, new barrel and cost of rebarreling (on top of the cost of free floating the old barrel and bedding the action before I discovered the bore problem)has sort of taken up the money I had stashed back for the Sunset.

But, I'm starting to get new money even now.

A ZKK-600 BRNO,

But a AK-47 or a FAL is in the planning stages, but it will be next year, as I found a 1950 Model 70 Winchester which is next in the que.

No you're not crazy

Hi Edmond,
In California, we're business as usual as our AWB is still in effect.
Finances come first so unless you are really dying for something new...you're not crazy.

and a bunch of new D&H USGI teflon mags :D

I picked up a 25-round magazine for my daughter's 10-22. I wasn't really looking for it but it was there and it was only $20.... Time will tell whether it was worth it or not.

Tapco folding stock for the AK.
Some magazines for a sig P226 which I can't legally buy, so I guess those magazines will be collecting dust for another 2 years....

Nothing related to the AWB, as I already have plenty of 30 rd. AR mags and all my pistolas are 1911 type.

I have picked up a K-31, a Yugo SKS and a Colt NRM. :)
