What is the "nicest" gun you really hated?

Walther .380 ACP PPK : so nice... so desirable... so unreliable.
Failures to feed and/or fire and/or eject galore, regardless of make/type of ammo.
Sold to finance the purchase of a near-mint 4" S&W 13-3 & very happy with that.

That would be the Beretta 92 series of guns,,,

Wonderful performers that just don't fit my hands.

I have a model 85BB Cheetah in .380 instead,,,
As well as a model 87 Cheetah in .22 LR,,,
They fit my hands and look great.

S&W M&P .45, flat dark earth. Tons of problems with it. Two trips to S&W. Never trusted it after that. Traded it for a G21 to a guy that knew all about all of my issues with it. He took it anyway.

Back in the '90s, a friend had a Colt All American 2000.

It had BAR NONE the WORST trigger pull of ANY name brand handgun I've EVER fired.

It stacked and stacked and stacked and stacked until it seemed like it would NEVER break, then broke.

My friend finally punted and bought a Glock.

That gun almost drove Colt out of business... along with their imaginary "smart" gun.

Stainless AMT Hardballer (standard 1911 size). Stupid thing would not function reliably no matter what I tried to feed it. It had a real nice trigger, nice balance and it looked nice but the barrel was pretty much junk. I polished the feed ramp, tried everything to get the barrel to shoot but the best accuracy I could get even from a rest was around 5 inches at 25 yards.

Finally I saw an an ad for Centaur Systems compensated barrels that were supposed to drop-in any 1911. I ordered one and did have to do a minor bit of fitting to the barrel hood, but after I got that thing in there it would shoot 2" groups all day long at 50 yards from a rest and it would digest pretty much any bullet shape I could come up with. It would even feed empty cases more often than not.

I finally sold it though after I put all that work into it. I figured it was just a matter of time before something broke on it.

A friend had one in the '90s. When he got it home he noticed that the barrel wasn't completely rifled.
