Although I have a few different makes, my preferred carry at this time is the Khar P380. I did get a Glock 42 a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking forward to getting the opportunity to put a few hundred rounds through it in the next couple of weeks.

My first keeper .380 was a llama 1911 mini-clone.
Retired that for a Bersa Thunder. An amazing gun at a great price. got stolen.
Now a Colt Mustang XSP.

I have a thing for single actions

> biggest .380

Yeah, "big" isn't exactly what you usually want in a .380... but though it's a big sheet metal box of a gun, it's smaller than some modern large-capacity automatics (with the optional 16-round mini-magazine), and a lot smaller than some revolvers...

Thanks Gun Master, I got all but the CZ off of Gunbroker or Guns America. Decent gun shops are hard to find where I live so I do my shopping on the web. I paid $220 for the HSC a couple of years ago, and got lucky as the pictures were blurry and I took a risk. But I wanted to see if I liked it and for that price the risk was minimal. I did get a set of Wolf Springs, a must for old HScs as they springs were a bit weak in the first place and just got worse with time. The recoil and mag springs solved any feeding issues and it has been 100% ever since. My wife wanted this one (after I added the grips she fell in love with it) so I bought another blue one and one in nickel. Probably will sell one of them one of these days as don't really need 3. Picking up a Makarov .380 (Russian) on the 26th when my permit allows (no more than one a month in NJ). Have .380s up the ying yang!

The FEG PA63 9x19 short . About 1/2" narrower than the Beretta 1934 in 9mm corto. (caliber dropper!) It has flat grips I got from Makarov.com before they went out of business, so no thumb rest. Very accurate and I got the spring kit so I could use the trigger DA. Snappy recoil that needs a firm grip, but then so does my P38. About twice the size of the P32. Fits my hand well.

I have several "favorites" but one that hasn't be mentioned yet is the Sphinx AT-380. This pistol is as solid as they come. Compact, yet holds 11+1, in a totally ambidextrous DAO package. The same size as a PPK/S.

Just brought my Wife's new Glock 42 home from the LGS....cleaned her up and lubed it, locked the slide open after dry running it a few hundred times last evening.

She's thrilled - I'm thrilled. We'll run about 200 rounds thru it this weekend but I'm already certain it's now my favorite (and her favorite) .380.

My Sig 232, had both a light weight and stainless one. Sold the stainless to my friend and keeled the light weight.

My glasses go on my face first and my S&W Body Guard goes inside my belt next. Over 500 rounds never a misfire. I want my personal (up close and personal) CCW reliable and small! Keep the Colt 1911 officer near bed or in car for heaver work. :)
