What is your favorite CCW gun

Favorite is my beloved Ruger P345. Comfortable. Not blocky. In a belly band.

Other wise it I carry an XD45c or Glock19. Basically the same size.

Depends upon how you carry it.

I'm 5'7" and 200lb.s. I carry a Glock 22 on a regular basis. I carry in a Don Hume 715M IWB. It works just fine.

Yep, I'v been hesitant to spring for another ccw weapon since I think the g17 could be really manageable in an M-TAC. Pogo2's Kahr photo with the comp-tac is not making the urge to splurge any easier. Man Pogo! That's a darn-near ideal rig!;) ...easy on the eyes too:evil:

I agree 2661 I am just like you only ten years in but still, I am now a constent friend of the M&P 9mmc it comes everywhere when I am not on duty.

I like to carry my P2k in 9mm, but my favorite has become an airlite J-Frame in .357 simply because there's no excuse for not having it on me all the time. Even now in a pair of swim trunks and tank top sitting around the house, it's easy to drop into a pocket.

Grendel, are you saying that the DeSantis isn't working out and that you're thinking of going to Comp-Tac? I own two Tuck This holsters (P2000 and J Frame Revolver) and have no complaints.

My favorite is the Keltec P3AT in a pocket holster. The .380 isn't my first choice for SD, but it is better than throwing rocks and I always have it with me.

No complaints about the DeSantis, it does the job it was designed for and at a reasonable price.
My body-style creates a situation where both the pistol grip and my kidney try to occupy the same space, I'd like to find a method for them to get along better.
With all the glowing reviews for Comp-tac, I plan to give them a try.

I don't believe one can own too many holsters. (ask a woman about shoes)

Roger. Post a review after you get the new product - they do have a great rep, though I've yet to lay hands on one.

Hmmm...it varies a bit. I guess my fav is my S&W 325PD. Light, but not tiny. Reliable, but not heavy. And it takes the same ammo as my XD45.

Glock 27
-I get free .40 ammo to shoot, I think it's a solid round and a good defensive round.
-Auto, simply because it holds more rounds than a revolver.
-Glock is point and shoot, no safeties to mess with and worry about when you are under a lot of stress.
-The 27 is small enough to easily conceal for me, but large enough to fit well in my hands and holds an adequate ammount of ammo.

I started off carrying a Kahr .40, ended up with the Xd compact in .40. Do your self a favor shoot one. You will fall in love with it. Carries a lot of rounds, (and for me) very very accurate for a 3” barrel.

in the warmer months i carry a g23 with 165 bonded gold dots,
other times a g20 with 175 silvertips.
when i really neeeed to be carefull hiding, a kel tek 9mm with 115 gr silvertips.(should open up a little slower with the velocity drop)
all carried in the 2 o'clock position.

CZ 75 P01

I love the Egro's and its accurate. I prefer DA/SA w/ decocker for ccw. Plus it's my wife's favorite gun. Now we have two, I like knowing the gun I carry is one she is comfortable with, same mags etc.

3" model 13 with a bobbed hammer, and Eagle Secret Service grips.

Stoked with Speer Gold Dot 357's. I love that revolver.
