what lights do you carry?

In just two short years I went thru severals EDC's, The one hanging from my neck as a CPF badge is still there, but maybe not for long as I am to get a Fenix LOP ( 1AAA), the light in question is a ARC AAA and as I have a Photom in my key chain, this one is around my neck.

Now in my pocket I always carry some light, I was in love with the E2e for a while, the E1e for summer wear, went with the Surefire L-4 Digital Lumamax for another part of the year and a A-2 Aviator, Mc Gizmo PR T 917 TYOJ, and a E2d Defender.

Recently I switched to the Nuwai QIII, and was happy until I got my Fenix L1P, this is what I have now in my pocket at all times until I go out of the house when I add the Defender with the wicked bezel and a modification to make it output 120 lumens.

Some Custom lights, Mc Gizmo PR T's 917 and a 120 lumens head on top.

And talking about the Defender bezel, since this is the Forum of "other weapons" I am coming up next week with a MAG 951 II CBQDS (that stand for Crenalleted Bezel Quick Detach Swivel) it will output 951 lumens and with that bezel can take down guys like this:

Here you can see how it looks like:

FLASHLIGHTS ARE GETTING BETTER THAN EVER!!!

Let me recommend a Fenix L1P. While not cheap, most folks who have one seem very happy with theirs, and it takes AA batteries!

Or for casual use an L1 would probably be just fine and a few $'s cheaper. I know there was someone selling R-bin L1's, so the only differance would be the finish.

For city I keep a tactical light on a lanyard in the left top pocket of my coat, so it can be pulled out quickly. For the sticks where light is hard to come by in winter I always have a headlamp handy. The best for up here are the ones with the battery pack separate and in an insulated pack you can keep inside your coat. The deep cold will sap batteries faster than you can imagine. The very best are the ones used by mushers, but they run a little pricey for me.

I also have a calcium carbide lamp, an emergency strobe, and some spare LED headlamps in the emergency kit. When the power goes out it gets real dark here in the winter.

I haven't seen ANYONE who had L1's in stock lately. Just L1Ps and now L0Ps.

This is the type of thread I try to stay away from for my wallet's sake. Ok, I really want another light.

My name is Parham, this is my 4th week, its been 28 days since I bought a new light. I am an addict.

I haven't kept up to date on availability, just throwing it out there. On a side note I got a L0P today and it's replaced my RR 2xAAA as my EDC utility light.

SureFire 6P pretty much all the time. It's a little clunky in a pants pocket, and my coat has a little wear mark where the bezel rests inside the pocket, but I'm never afraid of the dark, and it's good for chasing tomcats away from our little pet door.

Depends on clothing, but at any time I might have: Inova X1 or X5, Pelican M6, Nuwai Q3, Gerber Infinity Ultra. Streamlight Key-Mate is always on my key chain.

All I have is a Photon II with me usually. It's just there so I can light (fight) my way to a bigger flashlight! :D
