S&W 596 (591)? Anyway, an L frame, 44SPL, 3 inch barrel, matte blued steel, with fixed sights.
I like it, but a "Marlin" 10/22? Mine's a Ruger.30 Carbine with a rotary magazine such as in the Marlin 10/22.
Uh...rotary mags are the weak point in nearly every Ruger that uses them. Box mags are always an improvement- I in fact have an early Ruger Ranch in .300 that won't work if I manipulate the bolt fast. The later, box mag versions rarely suffer from this problem.OK, this is going to sound tulula but... I would like a semi-automatic rifle chambered for say... 30 Carbine with a rotary magazine such as in the Marlin 10/22.

Yeah, but the Savage 99 is magic- and, dare I say, probably received a lot more hand fitting than any post WWII Ruger has! Remember, for a long time, Ruger was mostly known for making ugly cast guns.the rotary mags in the savage 99 seemed to work OK
their "cast" revolvers were and are the strongest production pieces not like the fragile Colts and S&WYeah, but the Savage 99 is magic- and, dare I say, probably received a lot more hand fitting than any post WWII Ruger has! Not disputing that. Glocks aren't pretty, either, but they're famous for working.their "cast" revolvers were and are the strongest production pieces not like the fragile Colts and S&W
Actually, I kinda like how Glocks look. And there's only been a couple of Rugers (Super Redhawks for one) that I never really cared for the looks of.Glocks aren't pretty, either, but they're famous for working.
I think Ruger revolvers look great both SA and SA-DA but that is up to the buyerNot disputing that. Glocks aren't pretty, either, but they're famous for working.

I'd go for one in 38-55 Winchester. An affordable Rolling Block in a size suitable for 41 Magnum ... maybe even one in 30-30 !
It would be perfect for 25-20 , 32-20 , 44-40 , 45 Colt and of course 357 , 41 and 44 magnum .
357 Maximum might also be cool !
I think Rolling Blocks make into nifty little sporting rifles .
Gary
I could live happily with a 38-55 also !I'd go for one in 38-55 Winchester.
It was only a .22 rimfire, but I'm certain that once upon a time High Standard built a double action revolver with a swing out cylinder that looked like a single action Colt or Ruger. It was called the "Double Nine."i'm sure it's not possible, but a double-action revolver with swing out cylinder that looks EXACTLY like the single actions; colt, ruger vaquero, etc.....
Actually...If Ruger would make lever action rifles in 454 casull and 480 Ruger that would be amazing!!
I would have to rearrange my safe again to make more room!!
I'd like a US made all metal pistol that is a natural pointer, 18 degree grip angle, slimmer than the HiPower but as accurate with a barrel longer than 4.5 inches and in 9mm Luger caliber and that comes standard as a 15 + 1 round pistol and will feed any brand or type of 9mm Luger bullet reliably and that is available in both DAO and DA/SA in the very same gun with ambidextrous safety and swap-able button type mag release. It should also have a manual safety/decocker, allow racking the slide even when it is in safe mode and the magazines should drop free. The DAO trigger pull should be less than 7 pounds while the DA/SA trigger pull should be around 5 pounds in DA and 3 pounds in SA mode. It need to be good looking and snag free and be able to fit in any common 1911 holster.
The BDM. Bought it in '91 IIRC. It's one that every time I carry it I wonder yet again why it never caught on with any police or military?Browning BDM? Some sort of CZ with interchangeable trigger guts?
