I bought a Greco Scagel style knife, used, from a guy on another forum. I like the Scagel style, and the price was good. I like pouch sheaths, and I have one ordered for it.

Bark River Trakker in A2 steel with a Bark River Mini-Aurora in CPM-154, Black canvas Micarta, red liners and matching mosaic pins. Swapped out the Mini Aurora sheath for an Adventurer II sheath and bolted them together ... very solid. My first Tracker style knife.

Kershaw Camp 10. I've been using it split big pieces of firewood into smaller ones.

Just got this one to throw in the car. Has a fire starting sparking thingamajig built into the sheath. Blade is about 7", handle is hollow for storing small objects or making it into a spear.
Didn't know if the new owners would continue to make them, so figured I'd grab one.
May come in handy in case of the event which may never be mentioned here. lol
Edit: It's sharper than originally thought, ask my thumb how it knows...

I had a bushman backordered at Midway, but when it didn't show up for two months I think they must have cancelled the order. Sometimes simple is just fine.

I recently ordered a knife that has long been on my list. A tasty Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife (#3 pattern.) This specimen was produced by John Nowill and Son., who are still manufacturing the knife in Sheffield, England. I'm looking forward to it.

An old timey looking lock back from A. WRIGHT & SON LTD. Sheffiield England. 4" blade, 3" sharpened, rosewood scales with brass pins, a nice slim pocket carry without the bulk. Check them out, lots of folders with Stag an Buffalo Horn, also old Marbles style hunters and classic 19th century Bowies. Nice to know you can get a real Sheffield made knife. All are carbon steel. Reminds me of the stuff in the old Atlanta Cutlery catalogs from the 70's when I had no $$.
I missed that they were making lockbacks. Just saw the slipjoints. Good to know.

I just went back and the lock back is no longer there. Bummer. I was going to get a couple for gifts. I bought mine last July.
