What Will Happen WHen We Ban Guns, Car Attack

As you can see in a world like today where people walk the streets peacefully and expect little, cars can actually quite a bit more lethal than any type of gun. Today, some maniac in Netherlands plowed his car into a crowded street parade almost killing the Queen of Holland and killing 4 others, injuring dozens of other people. Psychotic maniacs, terrorists and the whole lot will always find means of causing mass destruction. I just couldn't help thinking if someone had been armed they could have stopped the driver in a country that abhors personal firearm protection like The Netherlands. Not long ago one of the great grandchildren of Van Gogh was shot and stabbed to death by an islamic terrorist in the streets of Amsterdam and was totally defenseless.

The police immediately arrested the driver, who was trapped in his car as it crashed into a monument. Authorities declined to provide the driver’s name, but said he was a 38-year-old Dutchman who apparently acted alone and carried no weapons or explosives

The police said that four people were killed and 13 wounded, five of them seriously.

The attack raised a host of questions on how the driver could have broken through several police barricades before he drove into the large crowd and swerved toward the bus carrying the royal family, missing it by about ten yards, witnesses said.

I hope Europeans will not start talking about banning cars now because of this incident? Banning seems to be the way people deal with problems over there, but it doesn't seem to be effective, I wonder why?

they should just ban bad thoughts ,that will fix er up all right the queen of holland,i did nt know they had a queen,in this day and age what do we need kings and queens for ,kind of old fashion..Holland makes me think of Austen powers ,Gold member lol

Banning cars is not the answer to the problem. That's only going to create more problems.
