Cheap bag, probably 18x20x12"

3x Muffs (hang from the strap)
Bag 'o Plugs
2x Glasses
StickNSee target stickers
Clothspins
Duct Tape
Empty coffee can (for brass)
Small 1st aid kit (won't treat a bullet wound, but helps for minor cuts and abrasions)
A few tools (screwdrivers, pliers, torx set, allen set)
Pistol cleaning kit
Bottle of water
Full size bath towel
1 roll TP
Hand Sanitizer
Sun Screen
Bug Repellent

There's enough room for 4 or 5 pistols, I use those silicon coated gun socks to keep them protected during transit.

Ammo and mags are in ammo cans by caliber, sure as heck couldn't fit it in the range bag!

I keep my cleaning rods in my rifle cases, so I have one for each rifle I own, and it's always there when I need it.

Well, Lets See

There is a digital camera for taking pics of targets/persons
Eye and Ear Protection for myself, and other's (if needed)
Carpenter's Apron (to hold loose ammo)
Extra magazines (for use with the autoloaders of the day)/Speedloader
Screwdriver, Small Pocket Knife
Roll of masking tape
A 4 oz bottle of Break Free CLP
Extra Ammo/MTM Cartridge Cases (empty)
Shoot-N-C 3" and 5" targets

i use a 5 dollar stanley tool box. it has- screwdrivers and allens, oil, bandaids, ear pro, benedryl (i have allergies) eye pro, ammo, mags, and if i'm bringing a hand gun that goes in there too. it also has:
markers
target dots
staples
brass bag
small key chain light
squib stick
zip ties (because really, is there anything they can't do?)

i don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but back when i was shooting with 4-h, i meet a girl who carried a mousepad for kneeling. it was better for stability then kneeling on the corner of the prone pad. i always had one with me after that.

I have a large red plastic toolbox from Menards. I got two of them for less than $10. They work well.

Cleaning kits (for all firearms) and rags
Solvents/Lubes
Screwdrivers 4 in 1 and small regular/phillips
Cheap multi tool with pliers
Ear plugs
Paper towels
AK/SKS sight tool
Pistol mat
Nails
Masking tape/duct tape
Small cresent wrench
Pen and paper

My "Range bag" is simply a GI buttpack
- A couple GI cleaning kits, rods with attachments and a boresnake
- Patches, rags, old t-shirts
- Bottle of oil and hoppes 9
- Extra foamy ear plugs
- Gerber or leatherman
- Screwdriver with a few different bits

Ammo is brought in ammo cans when hitting a "range". Or when out hunting, in jacket pockets.

Hmm...

Targets...
Small spotting scope.
Markers and pens.
Big hammer
Lil rolled up blanket I use as a shooting mat.
Sandbag
Earmuffs
shooting glasses
big pile of ear plugs
Stripper clips and speedloader for AR mags
AR and AK mags...
Bandoliers
Thumbtacks
Staple gun / staples...

I think there's more stuff in there that I'm just forgetting.

My range bag has :

50 rounds of 22 LR
100 rounds of 40 S&W, my reloads only cost me $5.75/50.:D
6 magazines for my XD-40, 3 magazines for my Taurus Mil-Pro 40
5 magazines for my Ruger 22/45
20 stripper clips for my SKS
(4) 15 round M-1 carbine magazines
50 rounds of 38 spl, my reloads also.
50 rounds of 357 magnum, my reloads.
30 rounds of 30 carbine (M-1 Carbine)
20 rounds of 7.62x39 (SKS)
Ear plugs, ear muff's and targets.

This is pretty much what I shoot on a weekly basis.:D

I carry my pistol's seperately in an aluminum pistol case.

:eek:You guy's just take one bag????????????

I take one with 2 to 4 pistols in the side compartments, & the center is full of tools, rags, cleaning kit, oil, ears, ear plugs ect. Another bag has several sizes of ammo & mags for the semi-autos. Then there is the one for the AR15 ammo & mags, One with the shotgun stuff in it & one with the stapler, 6 - 6" round steel targets, a can of spray paint & a coupe of portable PVC target stands. Sometimes I take all of them with me, but usually it's just a couple.:D

Quote:
Hammer and piece of brass rod and a multi tool to remove really stubborn jams

If I needed that, I'd either get the gun fixed or throw it away.

Sadly... Nothing.

The Mrs. and I have been working so many hours for the past couple of months that our range time is non-existent. :(

When we do get to go:

Bore Light
Eyes
Ears
Small cleaning kit
Small multi tool
Small bottle of CLP
Rag
Pack of Shoot-n-c targets
+ Ammo, Guns, and Mags

Wow, some of you guys have long lists.

Not really a "range" bag, just a shooting bag. Mostly .22LR, some centerfire ammo...

a marker, tape, thumbtacks (for targets)...

a few small items like spent lighters, old cig packs, unusable CDs (more targets)...

a set of small (glasses/laptop repair) screwdrivers, a reversible (Phillips/flathead) screwdriver, and a fifty cent piece to take down the Marlin 39A with. That's about it, I think. Oh, and some foam earplugs for guests, I never use 'em (shame on me).

I take most of what others have listed, but also take a long a small spray bottle of bug repellant.....I hate them biting flies!!!!
