Springfield XD40 what a piece of garbage.

Care to go a little more into detail? I have one and only have problems with it when I give it reloads. I've also got one of the first models that doesn't have the nice finish on it and its worked fine. Granted I hate the six pound trigger pull but aside from that its a damn fine weapon.

Dad's German .32 automatic, labeled 7,62 and 'Rheinmetal'. Said he got from a buddy who claimed to have stripped it from a German general in circa 1945.

Horrible accuracy @ 7 meters. Significant muzzle flip. Crunchy trigger. Frequent failures to feed. Lots of sharp edges. Compared to the other pistols which I have carried or at least fam fired, it is atrocious.

Of course, we rarely shoot it. Eventually I will demil/safe it by pulling the firing pin and putting it on display. Pin will go back in the safe.

I'll second the Helwan. Mine went from about a 6lb trigger pull to 10+lb in one range session. After taking it apart, I found that hammer and sear had worn away and scarred the hammer where it engages.

I sold it a few days later at a huge loss.

Mine is a toss up between all five of the Smiths Ive had. None would shoot minute of Grand Canyon. They would remind you of the old superman series were when he gets shot at he stands tall but when the gun was thrown at hin he would duck. Now after them I wont own another.

I'm not surprised to see the RG, Jennings, Clerke, etc.
In fact, I can remember when a local discount store used to put the Clerke's on sale for $13, your choice of .22 or .32.
But, I am surprised to hear the stories about the Smith's, Colt Series 70 and the Ruger MKII. I've put thousands of rounds thru mine and never had a problem.
I think what this proves is that just like cars, some guns are made on Mondays.

M and G 1911 comander clone made in california i think pasadena, well the front sight came off i took it back to the gun store and they fixed it for free.just about every second and if lucky third round would jam.
gave it away to a friend.

lol at "that doesn't count" or "prove it to MY satisfaction" when someone reads one they won't accept. everyone can make a lemon.

I've been lucky thus far. Nothing I would characterize as a POanything. Glocks, rugers, kahrs, sigs.
