Part of my Grandfather's collection that he left me. London made (Belgian locks) circa 1760 matching pair of saddle pistols. There is a Queen Anne pistol in the collection as well (which dates about 1730), but I don't have a pic of it handy.

I get these out when I get to missing the guy...

Bought this a few weeks ago, the guy got it from the CMP. Its a 1932, 1903. It's not a collectable, but rich with history, I believe it was used in the early days of WWII, it has a Keystone WWII C-stock, replacement HS barrel dated 12-44...it was probably replaced by a Garand, an redone an put away...the MW is 1.0, only shot it once but haven't got to the range yet...wow, open sights with range adjustment to 2700 yards!!!

I got a turk 1893 mauser way back in the day. Only paid 50 bucks for it. So it's over 100 years old now. I still shoot it a few times a year out in the desert.

i inherited a "Harrington and Richards" 12guage single shot shotgun , break barrel with a bead (a lump of brass) front sight ,2 stage hammer (1st stage, safe 1/2 cocked couldnt open breach) on a 36 " barrel , made in 1900 ,but the ex missus sold it on me ( grrrr... f$^&^$g woman), was worth approx $300 (australian) 10 yrs ago :(
had the best 30m (40yrd) pattern using BB shot ive ever seen :)

S&W Safety Hammerless .38 S&W -circa 1892
MAS St. Etienne "Lebel" Model 1892 -circa 1894
S&W Model 1905 M&P -circa 1910
Sauer & Sohn Mod 1914 "New Model" -circa unknown, WWII take home capture
Stevens .22 rifle -circa 1930's
Colt OMM -1950s
Ruger Mk I -1958
Colt Lawman Mk III -1971
Colt Trooper Mk III -1977
Marlin 336 -1979
Everything else is later than that so I would consider them "new".

My oldest one is a youngster compared to most of the guns mentioned here so far, a Dan Wesson .44 Mag, vintage about 1980 or so, it's a very low serial number, so it was made soon after they introduced it.

Until recently, I had an S&W "Triple Lock" in horrible condition that a friend gave me as a birthday present. It had no finish left on it, it did cock, but wouldn't have been able to actually fire as the hammer barely moved by itself when the trigger was pulled, there was severe pitting and huge amounts of rust inside the bore and internals, and the aftermarket grips were glued back together after a drop, I guess. I don't know where he got it, but he had it for 20+ years. I asked several people what it was worth, and nobody thought it was worth much of anything. A couple of gun shops offered me $25 for it I was thinking about maybe cleaning it up and making some sort of display out of it, but some old guy offered me $200 for it, off it went. The other guys at the gunshop thought he was nuts for paying that much, but he seemed happy to get it. $200 was better to me than a very nasty looking old gun that wasn't ever going to be shootable.

Winchester 1895 in 30-40 Krag made in 1896 (according to my father). Was his grandfathers rifle.

My grandpop's gave me a 12 ga. double barrel shotgun. It is an Eclipse Wonder # 5912. It has a Damascus Finish and was made in Belgium. Does anyone have any info about it?

I have no idea how old this rifle I have is. It's a early FN 22 semi auto. It's the same as the modern day Browning little 22 LR auto.I guess a gallery gun that breaks down in two pieces. I got it at the gun shop when I worked there 30+ years ago. It does shoot. Not real reliably.

Springfield mod. 1898 30-40 Krag made in 1906. Gun was bought by my grandfather god only knows when. My father relieved him of it 40yrs. ago. Father died, now it's mine. Gun hasn't been shot in 30yrs until 3 weeks ago. :D

I have a French pin fire bootgun in something close to a .32 cal. It has a pristine wood grip, folding trigger, and the mechanicals still work! When I found it it had four rounds still in it. It was buried in the woods in Great Britain just outside of Hockwold. I was sitting in the woods eating lunch with the wife and poking the ground with a stick and hit something hard and....
It was dated as mid to late 1830's French mfg by the fellow at Christies in London.
I discovered much to my dismay that the rounds are still hot when I tossed one to a friend in the kitchen and it fired (weakly) when it hit the floor. Now I have three rounds that I keep very well padded in a little wood box with no top.
Very cool conversation piece. Cool enough that I kept it longer than the wife!

Oldest gun I have is a 12 Ga. 1910 remington Auto-Loading shotgun. Belonged to my Great Grandad. Have a picture of him, (in a Magazine) with my Grandad after Geese hunting in 1939. Grandad had a 1925 Winchester Model 12 12 Ga.
