We talk alot about certain rifles, cartridges/calibers and scopes. Just curious what binocs you guys are using.
Mine are Pentax ZD 8x43 ED or Swift "Ultra Lite" 8x42 HD. Those are mine.

Mods: If this needs to be moved, please do. Thanks.

Leica Geovid range finding binos

My big glass is a Pentax 8X43. If not the exact model as the OP's is very close. I can't recall the exact model number.

I tend to carry something smaller most of the time. Leupold has discontinued them but I have a 6X30 Kenai's that always go.

I use Leupold Yosemite binoculars 8 X 30. I was ready to buy Steiner's when the seller asked me to view the Leupold. The glass to my eyes was better than the Steiner's and cheaper as well.

Wish I had the money for a good pair, I've got some old swifts that are variable power and for how old they are there pretty clear, nothing like new stuff. There just heavy and sometimes get left in the truck or I don't even bother getting out of my pack when hunting. I'm sure a clear newer and lighter set would get more use. I kinda like the idea of a Monocular, maybe get better glass cheaper since there's only one lense. Unlike scopes with binoculars there's only a few good brands that I know of, and don't have a sense of quality like I do for rifle scopes.

Check out the Hawke Endurance 8x42 ED Monocular. About $130. This is an excellent choice you'd like.

I use Leupold ones myself by buddy has a pair of Steiner‘s that are really impressive.

Even more impressive than that, he dropped them several years ago and broke them in half, all his fault and he told them so, they replaced it with the latest version at zero cost.

I have an older pair of Leupold Wind Rivers 8x42. I got them because of the diopter size and the capability of gathering light at dusk in the shadows...

My Leica 10x42 has the best optics of any I have tried. I also have ampair of Swarovski binoculars. They are great, but the Leicas seem a bit better.

Swarovski 10X42 EL, Fujinon 12X30 Image stabilized. (These are my go to bins. VERY clear and No vibration.), Canon 10x30 Image stabilized.

Steiner XC 10x42.
Got em on sale a couple yrs ago.
10X I find too much for being in the woods, and at 42mm, just overall bulk/weight.........not my fave.
I keep em in the Jeep for glassing fields.

Need a smaller 8X set.
