What's your "go to" brand?

I don't have just one, there are several that I trust a good bit.

Handguns:

Colt
Ruger
S&W
Glock
Sig
HK
FN

Shotguns:

Beretta (all)
Benelli (all)
Browning (O/U)

Rifles:

Colt
Daniel Defense
BCM
Savage
FN
Winchester

Handguns: I have as many S&W as all others combined.

Rifles: No real pattern, I have one or two from each of several manufacturers.

SIG and Glock for semi-auto pistols

Ruger and S&W for revolvers, with S&W preferred for most revolver needs.

each brand has it's strong points and it's week points ,I own 4 Ruger rifles and 5 Ruger handguns , but all my bolt guns are Savage's (4 of them) so you could say I'm a big Ruger fan ,but Savage just makes a better bolt gun , my handguns range from S&W , Ruger , Colt , Sig, High Standard , and Browning, and my S&W 1911 and my S&W 19-5 are my top two handguns ,yet the worst gun I have ever had in my safe was a S&W 40 sigma :barf: so....

auto rifles = Ruger

Pump rifles = Remington

Bolt guns = Savage

handguns = Smith or Ruger

and I have a hard time passing up a nice Savage mod 24 O/U combo gun :)

Ruger, the best customer service! When I noticed a crack in my well used (almost abused) P97 stainless (that I bought used by the way) I was very sad. It was my favorite pistol hands down. Well after talking to Ruger they said send it in and maybe we can fix it or find a frame.

Two weeks later I got a call from my LGS saying "Bud, you have to come down here fast! You won't believe what is sitting in front of me!" I got there in 10 minutes and he was right. Ruger had sent me a brand new P345, in stainless. I didn't pay a dime to ship to Ruger or back. I liked Ruger before this, I have more guns from them than any other manufacturer.

The awesome, great, and wonderful way they treated me sealed it. Ruger has a customer and fan for the rest of my life, and my niece and nephew are also customers for life. After seeing how they stood behind a product no longer in production and how they treated their uncle, my niece and nephew went and got a couple Ruger firearms. My niece came over with a new SR9 and my nephew got a Vaquero in .357 magnum. I recommend them to everyone!

I don't really have a go-to brand. I do find myself on the Ruger website quite frequently, though.

A head count in my firearms storage area shows that Winchester is the most common brand name, followed by Marlin, Colt and Ruger.

I don't have that large of a collection, but there is a bit of everything in there.

I don't own enough to have a go-to.
If I needed more service-caliber handguns, it'd be CZ. I love the way they feel and work, but the one I have does its job and makes me trust it enough that I don't need another.

If I had to name one, Ruger. All reliable, and there's enough variety to give me choices.
