For me it is my father in laws land about an hour and half drive away. I will occasionally go to the local indoor range

Anywhere on public land where there's a dirt berm or a hill for a back stop. My usual place has a bunch of alder bushes to hang plates from.

I knew I was going to forget something I guess I should have included public land. If someone wants to modify my poll and add that it would be great

I shoot at least once a week at my local Izzak Walton League where I'm a member. Being retired, both the ol lady and I have lots of time to go during the week when there's no crowd.

State Range

I like to shoot at the local SC State Park range in Pauline, but the down side is that handguns are only allowed on Wednesday?
I am going to shoot today on the land where my CWP Instructor lives and has his range. We do have to dodge his daily CWP classes there.

I belong to a club with annual dues for unlimited use. They have a 25 yard indoor range that's nice in the winter. But for field plinkin' I'll go to a patch of nearby State land.

Either on public land or at the state range but it is about 45 miles one way so I don't get out there as much as I would like.

Local Sportsmans club,..6 miles away,...has decent ranges from pistol at 25 to rifle at 600 yards,...also ahoot private propert about 30 miles from home,..and occsionally state land within waling distance from the house.....

I’m member of multiple shooting venues. I am a life member in one, a land owner in another and last but not least a yearly dues paying in one that’s my shooting club profile. I also have my own land that’s open for others to hunt on by permission only.

If I construct a range on my own property I’d have to close it to hunting which would displace others from being on the property. I may acquire additional property adjacent to my property which keeps new neighbors distant.

I prefer shooting outdoors, but since I live two blocks from an indoor range, that's where I shoot.

Outdoor, private range. I pay a yearly membership fee and can go shoot whenever I want for free
