How often do you shoot your handguns

Just curious as to how often, on average, you shoot your handguns?

Average month, I shoot 3 weeks out of 4. But not always handguns, sometimes I shoot just long guns. Handguns, prob ~2x per month on average, a bit more in the summer.

I try to get out once a week, If I can I'll go 2-3 times a week. I can always afford a box of 22 ammo even if I don't shoot the centerfires.

So I'll say three/four times per month.

I have an 18" piece of 14" 'I' beam (roughly the size of a man's chest) 25 yards from my back step. I put either a quick magazine full or cylinder full of what ever I am carrying that day into it everyday. That includes my S&W 642 and my Kahr MP-9. I don't try for a target shooter's group, just a Klang for every shot fired. Keep shootin'

For handguns, my shooting range is my front porch. I set up targets a little distance from the house and shoot from the porch -- it captures my brass.

I average shooting about five days a week but I may shot 3-5 times a day.
When a commercial comes on TV I may step out back and empty a magazine or two.

I try to shoot once a week, but it isn't always the hand gun. I'll shoot the 9mm carbine, the .22LR, and the 12 gauge all in pretty fair rotation. The wife has hinted at an AK for fathers day, so that will go on the list along with my beater 20 gauge.

I need to go way more often but in a city where they would like to ban all ranges. I have two left now that charge more than some boxed of ammo to get range time. Sometimes living in a city sucks.

I voted 4x a month but not always weekly, but that isn't quite true. I am gone from home around 120 days a year, so when I am around, I try to shoot as often as possible. If I could shoot once a week, every week, that would be awesome...but that would be impossible.

Handguns I shoot once a week (at the very least). Counting rifles, I'm at the range twice a week. When I have a new weapon, I might increase that frequency.

Couple times a week. I have two ranges at the house, one a rimfire set up from the front patio. The other range, for centerfires, is about 75 yards from the house. I shoot often, but don't usually shoot a lot of ammo per session.

Some months I shoot once a week or more. Some months I'm lucky to get out once, if at all. It depends on the weather and what else is goin' on. Altho I love me guns, I have a wife, kids, grandkids and a coupla other time consuming hobbies, and since I'm not yet retired.................:banghead:
