I am new to USPSA and have been using a 92 brigadier for production division. I want to switch to 1911 in either single stack. I have been looking mainly at STI.
Spartan, Trojan, Sentinel, Sentinel Premier, Duty One, Apeiro, and the USPSA model. They range from 600-2500. That's a big difference. Or should I just use my Kimber CDP for awhile?
Right now my local club runs this once a month and is $10 for members. There are 6 stages and 2 of them are USPSA classifiers, I am not a USPSA member. This is my first year doing these matches and I really like them and I am currently doing this for fun, maybe next I may get serious about it and travel around. So far I am doing pretty good against the people that come to this match.
My concern with using my Kimber is it is one of my main carry guns, so I am not sure if I want to put that much abuse on it and I don't know if shooting it that much will harm it in the long run. I would probably put 400rds a month thru it between practice and match.
Any info would be helpful
Thanks
