I was looking at getting a new gun that is cheap to shoot and a 9mm looks like the calliber to go with. I was wondering what brand I should go with. Please vote and explain your choice.

    NO GLOCKS!!!!!!!!!

    NO XD's EITHER!!!!!

I don't like how XDs and Glocks feel in my hands.

CHEAPEST 9mm I would buy and rely on is a Stoger Cougar - it is a clone of the Beretta Cougar. Beretta owns Stoeger and just transferred the equipment to them. The finish isn't quite as nice, but it is the same gun. Low $300 range.

I don't mean a cheap gun, I ment cheaper ammo then the guns I have no so I can shoot more. Gun cost isn't really a factor in this.

I was was really leaning towards an HK but just figured I would see what everyone else thinks while I am sitting here bored out of my mind. The P30 will be out by the time I am ready to buy so that will be the HK I will most likely get if I go with HK.

I would look at the CZ's as already pointed out. I own a couple of them and they are hard to beat for the money.

I used to own three HK's. They were neat at first, but just didn't seem to be worth the price. I voted for Sig. Solid guns, good feel, great rep.

It wasn't on the list, but you might try a S&W M&P. They have Glock reliability but actually fit a normal person's hand.

Sorry Dude, Glock makes the best 9mm hands down. The 17/19/26/34 there is not a more reliable, accurate, practically indestructible gun you can buy.

    I like Sig's & Hk's but in a .40.

Wonder why your poll is 70%+ other?

of the guns you list just rent them all and get the one you like best. I'd probably choose a Beretta 92FS INOX.

If money really is no object, I would buy one of these:

    HK USP SD
    [IMG]

then buy one of these to go on it:

    AAC EVO-9

I guess it depends on what you are looking to do with it. For target work and fun perhaps a kimber/para 1911 pattern pistol with adjustable sights. For "combat" type practice and possibly HD, a sig 226 or beretta 92 are both decent choices, if money is an issue, the ruger P series, for concealed carry perhaps a Kahr 9 or sig 239, also it begs the question of what pistol does feel good to you.

I really love my CZ75. Try any of the 9mms that CZ offers before deciding on another.

Get the USP and Beretta. forget everything else. they may be cheaper, but they sure aren't in the same class as the first two.

CZ75 or M&P, both great shooters, feel great. The BHP does not feel as good in the hand to me and I don't shoot them well.

Have you considered the Taurus guns? Lots of 9mm choices, from the smaller MillPro to larger sizes.
