    Dear THR:
Which auto loader has the worst trigger in your opinion?

I think Sigma is pretty bad.

    Thanks

Good gun but bad trigger my nomination is the Kel-tec pf9

A sigma isn't bad at all by comparison.

posted via that mobile app with the sig lines everyone complaints about

I was gonna say sigma. Grainy, feels like there is sand in it.

    I nominate the P-64
    30 pound DA
    2.25 SA
the SA is target trigger, the DA is along the lines of one of the grip trainers, many think that the gun is broken when first trying DA.

That said, the KT P11 has been compared unfavorably to a staple gun, most though the staple gun had the better pull.

Taurus PT-111. I fired a Jennings-9 once and thought it was the worst. Then I found the Taurus.

    Kel-tec P3AT. I think it's a safely feature to allow pocket carry w/o a holster.

If we can go back several decades, the H&K VP70Z has a pretty bad trigger. It's a striker fired gun, but unlike the current crop of striker guns, the striker was not partially or pre-cocked. Instead, the trigger cocked the striker fully until release and you didn't have any mechanical advantage to make it smoother or easier.

The pull weight and let-off can be improved upon with spring tuning and part polishing... but it's still, at best, only a fair DAO trigger.

I have a Sigma and a P11. I would have to say the Keltec easily has the harder trigger but I think it works better for what its designed for. The Sigmas trigger works fine but if someone sold a drop in trigger group at a decent price I'd probably buy it.

Having owned a PF-9 and an LC9, I have to go with the LC9 at least being the worst of the two. I hate LC9 triggers. The break comes so far back, it feels like it's in my wrist.

For me, it's the Sigma then Kel-Tec then G-Lock.

But the absolute worst is the trigger on my Daisy Powerline Model 15xt (1911 clone). Very stiff, probably a 14 pound pull or more which is too bad because if it was a lighter trigger it would be a great gun for training new shooters as it mimicks a real semi auto very well and with a fresh CO2 cartridge it is very powerful.

Worst I've tried was probably a Bodyguard .380. I know it's not a bullseye competition gun but sheesh...

Another Sigma vote. My gosh it was awful. Turned me off to S&W for a long time.
